Hello Peeps!!! :wave2:

Like some of you, I also did some more Christmas shopping yesterday. I was the last one at Target last night, I closed the place!! :rotfl2: They litterally started shutting off the lights!!!! :lmao:
As I was about to drive off I saw a group of crazy people in line for the new PS3. They had the littlest pup-tents set up. All of them looked nerdy!!! NO JOKE!!! :rotfl: :lmao:

jedi Men can never be trusted to to totally convey all their concerns with a doctor.
I hope that he is feeling much better!!! ::yes::

DH was one of those nerdy people, but he went at 3 am :teeth: Of course he didn't get one, but I was surprised to see my POTC blanket in my car on Friday morning
He was really mad because at Best Buy yesterday he overheard employees saying how they they got the PS3 and were selling them on ebay. That's just not right :sad2:

Couldn't you go downtown for dinner? :teeth:

Hello All!!

Not much going on here today that is exciting. Lauren has a birthday party to go to at 2pm. It's for that little girl I mentioned some time back who had stolen Lauren's Ariel necklace. Yes, Lauren has a big heart and forgave her. :goodvibes I can't say I would have done the same.

Last night at my Brownie troop meeting we worked on an ecology badge. We also made those pine cone bird feeders, the ones you spread peanut butter on and then bird seed. Well, all the kids wiped their hands and then went upstairs to wash them. And one little angel went into the bathroom sink cabinet and put peanut butter all over the cabinet!!! :furious:
I have a good guess who it was. My co-leaders son!
She brought both her boys with. The ones who like to run all over my house destroying it and causing havoc so the meeting is constantly interrupted. :furious: All while their mom does nothing to stop them. :furious: :furious:

Ok, I'm done venting!! Sorry! :guilty:

Jedi I didn't mean to imply that Toby was a nerd by any means!!!
But the people I saw the other night were very geeky looking.
Toby is so NOT that!!! pirate: :teeth: :teeth:
Have a good day at work!! :thumbsup2

Debbie Hope your little ones are feeling better soon!!
Mine go in for their flu shots on Wed afternoon. I got mine this week too! :thumbsup2 Have fun downtown!!

Donna Have a blast at the Fest of Lights!! Let us all know how it was!! :cool1:

tubachick HOWDY!!

bigben Have a great anniversary dinner!!! :)

hersey Are you busy with all your extra jobs?? :badpc:

slo Have fun putting up the tree! Our new one is in the box still in the living room! :teeth: I didn't end up getting one at American Sales. I went to the FIM store right in town. They had great trees there with comparable prices to Amer. Sales.

Time to feed Frodo and his sister lunch!! :rotfl:

Hope you all have a great, toasty warm day inside!!

Bunchkin - Toby dresses up as a pirate for a living. And before that, Star Wars characters. OF COURSE he's a nerd!!!!! :lmao:

But he's a cute nerd!!! :teeth: :rotfl2:

:lmao:

OH! I forgot to mention! At the World of Disney store in NYC, they had a POTC Christmas stocking, that was in the shape of Jack Sparrow's boot! I was soooo cool!!

Jedi - My parents didn't want to go downtown they just wanted to stay in the Joliet area. We did think of it but maybe next year.

Hi all-

Thanks Slo and Becky- for your understanding and concern with my SIL issues. I feel bad for venting these things, esp family things like this :guilty:
Thanks for letting me vent, tho :)

Tiggerrn- I'm sorry to hear about your dog's passing :guilty:

Bunchkin- Hope Lauren has a good time at the birthday party! Glad Hunter is doing well with his Christmas cast :thumbsup2
Sorry to hear about the peanut butter incident :faint: I guess you might have to have a talk with your co-leader about it, how her boys need to be disciplined at other people's homes, or the boys need to stay home.

Donna and Debbie- have a good time today at the Mag Lights Fest! Let us know how it went.

Hi to everyone else :wave2:

pix to make a DVD. Maybe some of you have seen it. It is kind of pricey but you can use all your photopass pix plus your own pix and then they add all these really neat graphics. Well, yesterday afternoon I get this email saying that the web page will be closing down until January 2007
Debbie

BUMMER!!! I ordered one, it's an awesome DVD. We love it! I usually end up having to play it 2 or 3 times everytime because my little guy gets so upset when it ends and wants to play it again & again & again. I ended up using our own photos because when they came out with it our Photopass pictures were long gone (and the fact that they NEVER got our ones in front of the castle. Boo Hoo!!!! So, we have no real picture of us in front of the castle on our first visit. Just the staged one that you do at the shop I think in Epcot where they superimpose you!).

I was hoping to do another one whenever our next adventure will be. Maybe they will come up with something to replace it.

Well, just sitting here waiting for dinner to get finished and I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I took Megan for haircut today and it is possibly the perfect cut for her. It's tapered along the front of her face, with bangs and long in the back. It just suits her to a T. I'm very happy with how she looks. She looked a wreck when I brought her in and she emerged a princess. I have to take a picture and get it on here!!

Thanks everyone for dancing :dance3: to my single digits. I am very very excited although my sister in law is making me crazy! Arrrgh! She's got herself convinced that something is going to happen to my mother in law while we are gone? My MIL is in the end stages of a disease similar to Alzheimer's, but she could hang on for months. I have prepared with trip insurance and everything else I can think of to make sure that if something did happen, we'd be back quickly. I don't know what more I can do. I have faith that all will be fine, but she's got me nervous that she may cancel at the last minute... :guilty:

I can't really do much more than that??

She sort of sucked the wind out of my sails, so I am hoping to get a better outlook over the next couple days. I'm still excited, but now I have this hanging over my head too.

So, if y'all can help me out and say a little prayer that all goes well, I'd appreciate it!

Sam :wave2:

SamIam21, have your mil on my prayer list.

go to the motherland and have a great time.
eat a mickey bar for me. :teeth:

SamIAm21 Go and have a good time. These things could go on for a while. You can't live life on what if's. All this from the person who has a plan for a plan.

We Culver's tonight (pumpkin shake) I so didn't feel like cooking tonight.

Good evening Everyone,
Just got back from downtown and I am so.....happy I decided to go and bring my DD. It was really fun! Granted my cousin lives down there so we had a perfect starting and ending point (parking place too) so that made things very convienent. It wasn't that cold at all and we had a perfect spot right at the very beginning of the parade. My camera took really good mini videoes but didn't take good pix for whatever reason. Maybe I will be able to get some pix up here. Maybe my other pals who went got some good pix. It is always so cool to see all the Disney characters downtown! It's crazy! I LOVED it!

I am still stressing over the DVD I am trying to make at photomovie.com. Long story so I won't bore you but it is very annoying. I think I'll be able to do it though.

Sam I'll say some prayers. It's hard but just try and enjoy all that is WDW any way. You know how fast you can get home!

Hi to everyone else. I better go back to working on the DVD hopefully I can figure the problem out!

OH...Culvers is so far for me!!! I want to meet all of you. Where is this CULVER'S? I love Culver's but there are none within 45 minutes of me.

OK I'm curious....

Debbie -- Glad you had a good time downtown.

I'm bummed...our town had the BIGGEST football game in history tonight and we lost. The thing is this is a "sibling rivalry" type of game...Geneva vs. Batavia...it has always been this way.

The thing riding it on this game was going down to the semifinals at state I think it's in Champaign?

What's kind of funny is that it is my hometown vs. my current town. Nothing like mixed loyalties. They expected about 5,000 fans to come out for this. THAT'S HUGE! I don't know how many came out but I do know there were tons & tons of cars. I had to go pick up my DD from the HS at the same time people were arriving at the game.

It's all good just looked like we got skunked 28-0 but reading comments it sounded like they had to really fight to get their points.

Guess we go back to everyday life now...this has pretty much been the talk of the town for awhile.

Good Sunny Morning to all!!! :sunny:
Very sunny here! Hope it's the same by everyone else!!! :thumbsup2

We started Christmas decorating here last night. We put up the new tree!! It's so great having a smaller tree. Our 9 ft tree really took up a ton of space. I still need to finish 'fluffing' up the new tree a bit. :teeth:

Also finished steaming my new draperies in the living room & dining room last night. That was a huge job. But it looks really nice now. :goodvibes

Debbie Glad you had fun downtown! Good luck with the dvd making!! :thumbsup2

Sam Try not to let your SIL's worrying bother you too much. I'm sure all will be fine while you're all at WDW. Let's hope that she won't be such a worry wort when she gets there! :thumbsup2 :teeth:
Can't wait to see Megan's new hair cut!!! I'm sure she looks sooo cute!! princess:

macraven We  Culvers here!!! YUM-O!!! :)

Jedi POTC Christmas stocking sounds cute!!
Hunter just spotted at POTC flashlight at Home Depot yesterday!

Ok, need to get going and feed the masses!!! :teeth:

Eveyone have a great day!!! :yay:

:wave2:

Boy, my house looks so nice with the upstairs tree up. I also put the girls trees in each of their rooms. Stephanie has my Grandma's tree (a table top fiber optic tree) and I bought Katie a small table top tree and Kevin put regular lights on it. Each of the girls picked out their own garland and ornaments for their trees - they look nice. :goodvibes

It was sad putting up my Grandma's tree though, because I normally see it at her house. Yesterday we also visited her grave and took two balloons for Thanksgiving, and Stephanie took a special picture she colored. They had stakes in the ground by each grave for winter so I put the picture through the stake. I told Stephanie that next time I'll take a staple gun and staple her next picture to the stake. This Thanksgiving will be hard for this family with her not being here - it just not right that I'm going to be making her sweet potatoes. :guilty:

I"m not sure yet what's going on today - getting ready for Thanksgiving I guess. I do know that Kevin is making breakfast, so that's nice :goodvibes

tubachick - Hi there :wave2: Long time no see - don't be a stranger okay!!!!

Becky - I"m sorry your town team lost last night :guilty:

Aces - :wave2:

Debbie - I'm glad you had a great time downtown last night!!!! :cool1:

HERSEY - MMMmmmmm, a pumpkin shake sounds good!!!! :goodvibes

Jedi - I'm glad you enjoyed the Rockettes the other night :)
**When you get a chance, would you mind posting the website with all of Toby's Captain Jack, Willy Wonka, etc. pictures. She's never seen it and those pictures are AWESOME!!!!

bigben - Happy Anniversary to you!!!!! :Pinkbounc Where did you go out to dinner? I hope you had a nice night!!!

Bunchkin - I remember you talking about these boys before - how upsetting!!! :furious: I had a friend, who is now just an acquaintance (sp?) that has boys that were always animals when they came to my house too. I understand your irritation with this, and it's so hard to know how to approach the parents.

Rosemarie - Don't feel bad about venting about your family problems - that's what we are here for :grouphug: I just hope everything works out for you :wizard:

macraven - Welcome home to your son :) I bet it's nice to have him home :goodvibes Any word from your son in Mexico yet?

Sam - I'm glad Megans haircut turned out well.
*I'm sorry your SIL is being the way she's being. Don't dwell on your MIL's condition and just go and have a great time. Like you said, she could still be here for a couple more months - no ones knows. Because of this - go have fun. When you say SIL, is this your DH's sister? If so, and this is her mother, I guess I can understand her nervousness. But she shouldn't be spoiling your trip though. I hope you have lots and lots of fun. I will keep your MIL in my prayers.

Well, I guess I should get going - have a good Sunday today everyone!!!
