hey Disers good evening,

I am so tired but I can't sleep. My son has a hamster. Lately the darn thing won't stay in his cage. We taped it, put things on top for weight but she always seems to find a way out. Well she got in the wall and she is trying to chew her way out. All I hear is scratch scratch scratch and it is driving me nuts.

I can't stand it anymore!!! I know my son really loves this thing but enough is enough. She has done this before and I already have a hole in the wall from a few months ago and it looks like I will have another. Anyone have a hamster before that might have a few tips? I'm going crazy

On another note I did get the job I was interviewing for so Monday I start my new job. I am nervous and excited. It will be nice I will be working in Lombard (just a mile from yorktown mall).

HERSEY--right now the move doesn't seem real, I'll let you know as it gets closer. My oldest son moved to Kentucky a few months ago, but he doesn't have any kids.

when it got out of its cage, it chewed the tv cord and , well, it wasn't a pretty picture for the family here...........readers digest version: replaced the tv cord and the critter was given away.

Meet with the director of the department and they are going to change my territory and products that I sell at the first of the year. I really don't want to start over one more time, plus these products are not my "fit" at all, so it is really tough.. so I am thinking about switching jobs and maybe fields next year. I need healthcare for the family and a nice job where I can work that fits me better.... anyone hiring?

well DH and I finally set a moving date for now, February 20.

I know mom you will miss the girl's dearly, but look at all the stuff we can do when you come to visit, hey we can even take the drive to the big Yankee Candle store and go down to Myrtle Beach and stuff and as much as you go to Disney, I know you will stop in NC a few times .

I don't know if anyone out there is looking for the Mickey Mouse Club House but my Toys R Us in Orland got a shipment in. They had a few on the shelves as of 9:00. No figures to be found. I have been calling around to find the figures and all the stores say "No, not the figures". I am thinking most of the Toys R Us stores in Chicagoland got shipments.

Also, if anyone know where to got the figures besides ebay let me know.

Hi Everyone!

I'm thinking about going to MNSSHP next year, and I'm thinking about getting a Minnie costume on the Disney Outlet site. What do you think? In the picture the adult is wearing Minnie yellow Mary Janes with bows, but they don't have those for sale. I was thinking that if I can't find any, maybe I would get yellow Crocs and put bows on them! Probably better for park use anyway!

And is it nuts to get the costume in case I go??? If I go I think it will be me another adult female friend who has expressed an interest, and I don't even know if she would be dressing up.

Oh, and BTW, thanks everyone for the well-wishes on my new house. I'll keep you all updated on the progress. Right now, the next steps are an appointment on Dec. 2 to finalize structural, plumbing, and electrical decisions, and then Dec. 9 comes the meeting at the design center in East Dundee to pick out all the carpet and flooring and countertops and the other fun things!

DH and I just got back from the doctor's and they just ran tests on him, but no explanation of what happened. And of course DH didn't ask enough questions. I knew I should have gone in with him.

We went to Jewel to get our turkey and it was a madhouse!!!!! But they had a coupon in store that was for $10.00 the turkey, with a $20 purchase, so a Jennie-O 23 and a half pounder only cost me $8.00!!

My mom, MIL and I are going to see the Radio City Christmas show tonight, so I'm looking forward to that!

Oh, and DH did NOT get a PS3. I didn't think he would

Leigh.....The costume idea sounds great! I debated about doing the same thing for this year but thought about it when it was too late to order it. LOTS of people dress up for the party! Good shoes are important though. Anything black could work too.


We did do the flu shots today even though the kids have mild colds. It was very sad to see how upset my DD was when she realized what was going on. It's over now though. Another thing to cross off the "to do" list at least. I hope the kids colds don't get worse.

Hi to the rest of you. I think about all you guys all the time now. I hope those of you going through stuff have better days ahead of you. Whether you are stressing over something big or something small, I hope everything turns out OK.

Hey Heather. I will be out and about this weekend. If I see any of the MMClubhouse figures, I'll pick some up for you and you can just pay me back. I know how it is to be trying to find toys. Skip eBay though and try Amazon.com. They are shippers for Toys R Us. You will have a better chance there!!
