Busy days...I know you all can relate.
Just wanted you to know I was thinking about all of you!
Have a great second half to the week.
Debbie

I went to the doctor yesterday and just as I suspected, I got an antibiotic. I also got some cough syrup with codine that he wants me to take during the day - I don't think so. I will take it if I'm home, but not when I'm at work today :sad2:

Last night at training class, we learned how to write a Purchase Agreement when working with a buyer. There's so much to it, that it makes my head spin. But once you do a couple of them they will be no problem.

Becky2005 - Thanks for the info on HSM. I sure hope you are able to get those tickets :wizard:

Sk8Leigh - The picture of the townhouse looks really nice. Sending lots of PD your way for everything to go smoothly :wizard:

SamIAm 17 MORE DAYS TO GO!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Have a great day everyone! :sunny:

I found another of my internet buddies is coming to Chicago on business and would like to meet up for lunch. She is staying downtown Chicago & requested Chicago pizza.

Does anyone know what would be about 1/2 between downtown Chicago & Geneva area? So neither one of us has to do an extremely lot of driving?

I look at Giordano's (I know, I should know what is good Chicago pizza but I have no idea as we eat Rosatti's & like thin crust. Other than I like Pizza hut's pan pizza but that's nationwide. :rotfl2: ).

I'm wondering if the Rosemont location would be a good 1/2 between one? Streamwood would be even better for me but I think too far for her?

:) I'm new to the board--just wanted to say hi!
I grew up in Streamwood and Park Ridge now living in Homer Glen, IL.

There are a couple of good pizza places in Rosemont if you are interested in that spot.

Hi.. sorry I have been MIA but things are so hectic here... between work and taking the kids here and there and everywhere to scouts and football and cross country and united nations club and eagle project and Dh has been gone every week from Sept on and life in general..

anyway,, Eric's football team has won the playoffs against Mt Prospect and they are in the championship game this Saturday vs Schaumburg..it was supposed to be at 5 pm, then it got moved to noon , then rumor had it that it was Sunday so DH and Eric could go to a Scout weekend at Eagle cave but then the game got moved to 2:45 pm.. why did the game get moved around 'cause FREMD won last weekend and they play YORK this Saturday at 7 pm..

go figure..:confused3
HI geffric :wave2:
Congrats on Eric's football team! :cool1: Is he playing at Fremd or Schaumburg HS? Hope all goes well :wizard:
You sound very busy!
Hope you can slow down sometime soon!

Hi all-
Slo- hope you feel better soon :wizard:

Bunchkin- glad to hear about your new computer :thumbsup2

Becky- Schaumburg is always good for pizza :teeth: We have Lou Malnati's(very close to me), Mario's, Nancy's (not a sit down place tho),Rosati's, Pizzeria Uno. Gino's East is in Rolling Meadows(by a Meijer). Hope all goes well with your friend visiting

Welcome, Stinkerbell629 :welcome:

Hi StitchfansJr :wave2:

Hi to everyone else :wave2:

StinkerBell :welcome: to the Chicago thread!!!
I live right by you in the New Lenox area!!! There are a few of us who live near by actually!! Howdy neighbor!! :teeth:
We used to live in Lockport and DD went to Butler school on Farrell Rd. :)

4lilpoohs :welcome: to the Chicago thread as well!! :cool1:

Hope you both stop by often!! ::yes::

:welcome: StinkerBell629 -- should have done this earlier.

Sorry...I'm easily distracted.

Debbie & I will be in competition tomorrow for High School Musical tickets, wish us luck with the 50,000 other people trying for them too. :rotfl2: Although our scalpers haven't gone as nuts as other places that I know of yet(just read about NJ one trying to sell seats for $925 -- that's insanity!)

I have to get my DD to school really early tomorrow for a Veteran's day program they are doing....I'm just really hoping the pastor doesn't decide to stop by afterward. :scared1: My house is in no shape for visitors & I have to be on-line spending money at 10 AM SHARP. The program should end around 9ish which means timing would be bad for him to stop by -- I don't know why he would but you just never know. My DD invited him since he's in the IL National Guard. She's so excited that he's coming for the program since she really didn't have any other veteran to invite. My dad is one but he doesn't like going to these type of things.

Thanks for the welcome Bunchkin :)
Becky2005 it's so cool to "meet" someone that lives by me!

:thumbsup2 You just never know who is Dissing around here -- you don't happen to own a van with plates that say WDWLVR or something like that do you?

I saw one at the Butera (on the East side) several weeks ago. My first thought when DD pointed it out was "Hmm....I wonder if they DIS?"

If ya send them down I-290 onto I-88, there's a Lou Malnotti's in Naperville. If you don't want to go that far, I'm sure there's one closer to the city. In fact, I believe there's one in Schaumberg. I'd check their web site @ http://www.loumalnatis.com/locations/. I'm just not sure which are carry out only.

Yeah, it's Friday :cheer2: - you gotta love Friday!!!! :cheer2:

Today I am going to get my picture taken for my real estate website and my business cards. I sure hope my hair turns out right - alot of people are going to see this picture.

One month from today, i'll be heading down the the mothership for Mousefest .. YEAH..:cheer2: and work at NCDM..

I have been checking the black Friday sites for ads - Bb and CC and Walmart are up so I have to spend some time and really look at these..

Plus I am getting the menu together for Thanksgiving, and starting to do some of the baking.

QOTD: Are you hosting Thanksgiving dinner? If not where ya going? If so, what's on your menu?

Becky2005-No my plates don't say WDWLVR but that would be a great plate to have!

We are hosting Thanksgiving dinner as usual. We always host every holiday big and small. I haven't sat down to make a menu but I'm sure we will have ham, turkey, rolls, salad, green bean casserole, cranberries, sweet and mashed taters, and PIE :)
