Congrats on your new furniture Almost all of our entire house came from Bay Furniture, and I'm still bummed they are closing. We always loved loved loved that store. What type of wood is your new dining room set?

Well, Katie just woke up and I told her to go wake up her sister - she loves doing this. The more Steph tells her to stop bugging her, the more Katie does - it's actually pretty entertaining!!!

The cabins are supposed to be really nice. They are in a certain section of the F.W campground. They have a seperate bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk bed and a vanity and closet. Then there is a bathroom. And a full kitchen completely equipped. And a living room with a Murphy bed.

Allearsnet has a bunch of info and pics about them.

And I've heard it's easiest to get a golf cart for around the campground instead of using the internal bus system. So we'ver reserved one.

When we went to the Hoop Dee Doo last month, there were tons of golf carts parked near the boat docks. It looked so funny!!

Good morning everyone!

How is everyone doing?

It's been crazy here. A few weeks ago I got a call from Citibank wanting me to maybe come and work for them. I have had 2 interviews so far and the last today. I am so nervous. I have been with my current company for almost 9 years. Pay and hours are much much better so please keep good thoughts for me.

Sorry I haven't been on so much it is really cold in the room that my computer is in. Windows in here are really old. I need to move my computer in the front room so it's nice and warm.

I hope all is well and Happy November all.

Ahhhh you must have posted again when I was typing (and trying to get Hunter moving!!).

The dining room set in a cherry finish. The table has an different inlay pattern running through it in an oval shape. It's really nice. Huge table with 6 chairs. And a lighted china cabinet, with lined drawers. It's very nice.

Bed set is dark wood too. Headboard, footboard, rails, large dresser and mirror, tall chest and 2 big night stands.

I actually feel bad for them closing. Especially since they had opened that huge new store by us in Mokena. But I do LOVE the great price I got on both sets. I did all the haggeling myself. Tony just sat there and smiled!

fyi, crissup is a HE and, he's been around these boards a while. Right, John?

LOL!! I had considered whether I needed to point out the error or not. It's so easy to forget, sometimes, who's a he and who's a she.

But, yep, right, I'm a "He" and been around since '98. Spun the Think Tank off of the DIS, met my DW Carol as a result of the DIS, resulting in her moving herself and her two DDs 1,000 miles and marrying me (Her Mother and Sister/BIL have now moved out here too). Met some great people over the years, such as yourself. Went through some major periods in my life here, battled depression (turned out to be Sleep Apnea), survived a 6 month jobless period, got married.

One could say Pete has had a major impact in our lives.

When I taught Kindergarten I was sick all the time and it has kindof made me a germaphob. I was at a Birthday party yesterday and I think every single one of the kids had a booger nose! I thought I was going to die! I kept saying to myself...
"you can't live in a bubble...
you can't live in a bubble...."
but I wanted to take my antibacterial lotion and run for the hills!

I keep telling you guys I'm crazy!

I am going to work on downloading my pix so I am sure I will be back!

The Xmas stuff is already making me nuts
I went to Target at lunch yesterday to by some cheap halloween stuff. Well all the halloweeen stuff was pushed into a corner and the staff were putting up the christmas trees and the music was from Merry Christmas Chalie Brown AAAAHHHHGGGGG! It was NOV 2nd not dec 2nd my halloween decorations are still up. give me a chance to catch my breath before the next holiday.

Slo, sorry y'all are under the weather! Hope everyone starts feelin better real soon. When I got home from work last night, Megan was asleep on the couch at 5:30 p.m.?? We woke her up, fed her dinner and she went back to sleep in bed? What's up with that. I was afraid she'd be sick this morning, but so far knock on wood, no sickies!

Bunchkin: First, I hope Lauren feels better!! Silly Tony (clear liquids good, milk bad)! Congratulations on your furniture purchases! Smart Tony (stay quiet let the lady do the talkin). Congratulations on the Wilderness Lodge cabin!. (Tony gives you trouble, slam him up in the murphy bed. Problem solved!)

I see you guys still have Disneyland on your spring schedule. We may still join you okay -- still got my fingers crossed about pirates!! I gotta have something to look forward to right!

Okay, I think I covered some of the "issues" of the day. I will not be listening to 93.9 WLIT until after Thanksgiving. I have taken it off my presets, so I don't forget and press the wrong button. I just can't stand when they rush the holidays. However, I would agree that Sunday may be the best day to put up any outdoor decorations you may have because it's going to be pretty nice out, but let's not flip the switch for a few weeks yet okay!!

My DW works for the Disney Store in Joliet(Which is now owned by the Children's Place). And she told me on Monday, so halloween had not even arrived. They were already putting up thier Xmas stuff. That was just scary to me.

Good morning all (for a few more minutes anyway).
to all those with colds. Rough season right now. Don't think it helped any of us coming back from 80-90 degrees to 40s.
Kids woke me up this am hollering about the deer in our backyard. We had 3 of them just wandering through. The neighbors are hunters so I hope they are moving on far far away. Deer season soon if not already started.
WICKED tomorrow. Can't wait to meet some of you there. Will be great to put some faces to names.

Boy I got alot done today :banana My house is ***** -n- span!!!!

Now the girls are playing with Little People stuff by the fireplace while Kevin is watching tv - things are pretty quiet around here

Bunchkin - Those cabins sound pretty nice I told Kevin about you guys getting a golf cart and he really liked that idea. A vendor of his donated a golf cart to the FD for when they are working carnivals in the summer, and that cart is his little baby. He got it painted the same color as the fire trucks and even put lights and a siren on it - to funny!!!!
**That furniture you got sounds so nice!!!! Did you get it at the Mokena store? We really liked that store and have been in it a couple of times.

Crissup - Wow, that's some story!!! I think its amazing that you met your wife on the DIS - that's awesome !!!!

bigben - I don't like X-Mas starting this early either . I'm a real X-mas person, and I love everything about it - but it's just to early!!!!!

SamIAm21 - I think Kevin is going to put up our Christmas lights too on Sunday (might as well take advantage of the nice weather). We just won't turn them on until the day after Thanksgiving.

Tiggerrn2 - Aren't deer wonderful We have many that come by our house, and we love looking at them through our picture window. They are so peaceful!!!

HERSEY - Did Alex get a lot of candy for Halloween? How did his Edmond costume turn out? How's your sinuses - I hope you are feeling better

I'm not sure yet if I will be posting tomorrow, so if you don't see me, don't be concerned. I have my training class that starts at 8:30am and I may not have to much time to DIS .
