I went on a bus tour today that the library sponsored. It was a tour of Montrose, Rosehill and Graceland cememteries. Anyone interested in Chicago history, I HIGHLY recommend going on one of these. Our tour guide, Al Walavich does tours through the Chicago History Museum (aka Chicago Historical Society). We also went to a great Mediterranean restaurant called Andie's in Andersonville (duh, it just hit me why it's called Andie's)
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well!
And Mac - I agree that genealogy can be extremely addictive. Have you checked to see if the Zion-Benton library subscribes to any databases like Ancestry or Hertiage Quest? If they do, most likely you can access them remotely from home.
