I don't know of a St. Jude's around here.Bunchkin said:Kim St. Jude's charities takes toys. I donate to them all the time. There is a drop box with an attendant near my home. Maybe there is one near you too! They will give you a reciept for a tax write off too. Let me know how you liked Mickey's Magic Show today....but don't give away any good details!!

Guess I better look.
Good, imho. It's different. I'm used to the ice shows I guess. Rosemont theater is more hoighty-toighty than I'm used to tho. No drinks allowed in the seats (except water), only popcorn allowed in and, if you buy the cotton candy with the Sorcerer's hat, you can take the hat but, you get a voucher to get the cotton candy AFTER the show.
Program was $12. Imagine the other $tuff.
Thankfully, there wasn't a lot to choose from and, both girls chose nothing!
2 PLUSSES: I don't think there's a bad seat in the house! And, when it was over, people were SLOW getting to their cars. I got out in RECORD time for ANY venue I've attended!
Our show was at 2 and, I made it to Walgreens at about 3:40 to get a flu shot, No line!
Oh, I DO keep both spring/summer and WINTER stuff in the van. Trouble was, long story-short, that Matt came to the meet in his car but, he locked his keys in the car and, he needed to take my van to go and get the spare key - again.eeyore45 said:Always keep blanket and extra gloves in your car - I was so grateful I started doing this
Therefore, ALL my stuff, including the camera I brought for the 1st time (!), was gone, with him.

Maybe this is a new rule! I remember once I tried to take a picture and someone came over and verbally slapped me on the hand!!
We've seen Sesame Street there a couple times and Blue's Clues.
I wasn't being organized.
It was the only thing I didn't pull out last week because it still looked pretty. Oh well, I guess I better pull that out today.
The open house was nice, but I was tired after running after Katie all day. Stephanie saw alot of her friends, and she loved showing them around the fire house. I also saw alot of people I know, and met a lot of Stephanie's friends mom's, which was nice also. One mom and I even exchanged phone numbers so the girls could play.
Then after the FD Open House we went out to eat at Pizza Hut. It's the first time we have ever done that. We always eat Pizza Hut, but at home. We both agreed that all pizza for some reason always tastes better at the restaurant - we don't know why
, but it does. Then we came home and I put Katie straight to bed, she was so tired and I watched Poseidon, which was good - I give it a
.
I can hardly wait to see pictures. Stephanie loved BBB too, and we kept it a surprise also. She got the Diva look and she looked really pretty after she was done. I don't remember our Fairy Godmother's name, but here's a picture of her
I also hope you headache gets better before you go
I hate headaches!!!!!
. I sure hope that landlord puts it on soon for you.
It is a nice place though. Thanks for the review of the Mickey's Magic Show.

I've never been to that one before.
thanks.geffric said:Roseprincess glad that your all are back home and the experience is over. I never knew about the garage thing. It sounds like they need more parking. Nice to hear that you and your DH 's parenting skills were complemented by the staff.. Hope Chrissy is feeling okay today. When do you get the results back?
Yes, they defintely need more parking at Children's. I have read on their website they have only 1300 parking garage spots- for all the doctors nurses, all the other hospital staff, and the rest go to the patients and visitors- which isn't enough. Thanks for the update - glad things are getting back to 'normal'
for results!!
almost shelled out the $45 for the Disney costume... while we made the whirlwind costume hunting... she decided she wanted to be CLEOPATRA!!! DD often picks something out of the ordinary!!! DD loves to hand sew - I buy her remnants at JoAnn Fabrics, and a small sewing kit/box... and she makes pillows - I'm trying to get her to make stuff bags... I'm debating on taking beginner sewing classes, and investing in a sewing machine - I'd like to nurture this aspect of dd - Now I cant tell you how many places I've gone, and junk we bought (meaning it looked good, but when we got it home, it broke - and there's no return policies - the wig was ridiculous - it showed a pic but the actual wig is crap!!) I think I'd be better off just ordering from the internet!!! The October diliema!!!
It's the only one I have and I wanted it for scrapbooking.....sorry!
) we have decided to change our Disneyland trip to Spring break, which will allow me to search for low airfare again!!
There's no way I'm paying that much to fly.....for 4 of us!!

It started out being earlier in the year, like January or so, but it's ended up being Memorial Day weekend. We're going on Thursday (my friend's birthday). It will be me, her (she lives in Michigan--met her years ago, she's another skating fan), her good friend who lives near her, and another skating friend from Scotland. I'm closer with my one friend, but I've done some skating stuff with the other two as well. (We're all going to Skate America week after next.)
We'll go the parks on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Then we'll come home on Monday. I'm hoping I can talk them into getting those Mickey ear headbands for all of us (they had them at DL, I'm assuming they're at WDW). I think that would be fun.
Don't tell them.
I yelled upstairs, "I guess you should get your money back for that replent!!!!!
Alex will make a good Edmund.

A neighbor put out some pumpkins a few years ago and when I would walk to work in the morning the squirrels were haveing a field day.
but at least nothing can get under the bed. Now the closet...
for your DD, I know how hard it must be.
so I will just say HI to everyone
