Just checking in. We left at 2 am yesterday and got home about 10 pm last night. So we were gone 20 hours, 16 of them driving. Tim got home and is doing well I talked to Amy about 8 pm last night. Eric did pretty good on the trip home just had to keep giving him his pain meds.

I am so tired and sore I think I am going to stay home today and rest and get some laudry done. eric is still sleeping but I think he slept most of the night.

I might be back on later.
I guess all the prayers and pixie dust worked everything went smooth :thumbsup2

A big Thank You to All :goodvibes

Good morning all. Anybody got that ark built yet? :lmao: I think I've had enough of this. Headed out to shop today. Hope I don't drown in the process.
NiteOwl glad to hear you made it there and back safely. Hope all are doing well.
Slo, smile pretty today.
Our first PTO meeting is tonight. Should be interesting. New school. Need to select new board. Events are already scheduled, so the school now has to try and find volunteers. Picture day is Friday for the kids. Mine are on their own as I have to work. Hope they don't look too goofy.
Alright everyone. Try to smile and have a nice day. Let's all pray for some :sunny: and maybe we'll get some.

Holy smokes - Kevin's FD radio is going crazy with all the reports of standing water, cars getting stuck, man hole covers coming off and etc.. It really is POURING here!!!!

The thought of going out in this rain to get a picture taken is not making me to happy. I doubt my hair will stay nice after being out in this weather

Stephanie is suppossed to have a soccer game tonight. Keep your fingers crossed for me that it's cancelled. Even if the rain stops, that grass is going to be super soggy and the kids should not be running on it. Part of me is even tempted to not let her play if it's not cancelled. The last thing I want is a sprained ankle before vacation from running on the horribly wet grass.

scrappinmom - Good luck with starting to pack :wizard: I laid out all the kids clothes last week on the dining room table and now this week I'm laying out my stuff. I can't believe I'm leaving in 8 days!!!! :cool1:

Princess Mindy - Welcome home!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I'll have to check out the start of your trip report - thanks for the link!!!!

latharia - I've been meaning to ask - what's the story behind all the ketchup bottles in your siggie? Is it from Whispering Canyon? We are going there this year for the first time. I heard the story about asking for ketchup, and we are definitly going to do that. My youngest dd loves ketchup and would drink it straight from the bottle if I let her

Nite0wl71 - I'm so glad to see you made it home safe and sound. That's great that Tim is doing okay and Eric did well on the trip back. I'm still keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers, and please keep us posted on how they ared doing

HERSEY - :wave2:

Tiggerrn2 - Have a good PTO meeting tonight - I hope it all goes well :wizard:

Well, I still don't know what I'm going to wear for these pictures :confused3 I'm going to go on the brokers website and see what other realtors wore in their pictures.

Well, I better go find my snorkel incase my car gets stuck underwater on the way there :rotfl:

Later gaters!!!!

Morning.
Carrie, i'm sooo glad you all are doing well  i hope they all continue to get better!!!

Sandy, congrats on passing the test!

TIGGERRN--> The box arrived this morning!! Thanks so much!!!! :teeth:

What a rainy morning :umbrella:

Carrie and Amy - more :grouphug:

Hey, where's Bunchkin been? I haven't seen her on here in a couple of days. :goodvibes

Hi all- quick fly- by
My kids have a half day of school- a half day inservice in our school dist today, so they will be coming home right before lunch.

Carrie- so glad to hear Eric and Tim are home and will recuperate at home :grouphug:

Slo- hope Kevin's day settles down. Can you reschedule your photo shoot, since it's pouring by you?

Princess Mindy- Welcome back!

Becky- :grouphug: for your dd and the scoliosis. I don't have scoliosis, but what I remember awhile ago, that the kids have towear a back brace for it, depending on severity I guess. Hope it works out ok with the back specialist.

latharia- was wondering about the ketchup bottles, too. Do you work for the Heinz company? or is it anticipation to go to WDW again? :teeth:

Hi to everyone else :wave2:

It has stopped raining by me. Hope it stops raining by all of you.

Slo & Rose,
You are the first to comment on my siggy. :) Yes, they are from Whispering Canyon! The Cast Members who work there are tremendous fun! Everything you teach your children NOT to do at a restaurant, THEY encourage them to do. It's hysterical! :) We had about 19 ketchup bottles when we asked for some ... and how can you turn down the sweet faces of the kids who bring them all? ... and when the next call came, 2 tables over, we sprinted there with all of 'em in our arms. They looked less than pleased. :)

Wow, did that storm keep anyone else up all night? Non-stop thunder! :scared1: I usually sleep right through, but not last night. I am wiped out today.

Hope you're all doing well. Happy hump day! :teeth:

A slightly panic stricken Sandy is checking in

The retention area in front of my house is overflowing (like a volcano) :scared1: and our street is flooded. The town came out and told Kevin that we are "F*****" (their words exactly) because the wall of the retention area my go which means me and my neighbors are going to be like New Orleans :scared1: :faint: .

I'm a little nervous and there's more rain on the way :worried: . We also have a flash flood watch here until midnight. All I can say is thank God we were home for this and not on vacation

Okay, I gotta go watch the water rise :headache:

If you don't here back from me, you'll know why :guilty:

Thanks!!

Things are looking a little better. The retention area is still filled to the top, but it's not running down the sides anymore. Hopefully we won't get any more rain. If we do......we may be screwed!!!

Sandy I hope you all stay safe.
With all this cool damp weather I have sproutted mushrooms in my backyard. I just demushroomed so the dogs can go out. I don't want Hershey to find them and get sick again. I still don't know what he had a couple of weeks ago. Atl least there weren't any mushrooms then.

Thanks guys!!

Channel 7 news had Highland, In on the news talking about their flooding. That town is one town over from me.

For now, I'm baking banana bread :goodvibes and getting dinner ready.

Oh, I forgot to say....I cancelled my photos until Friday and I told Stephanie's soccer coach that she's not playing tonight. These kids have no business being outside on a night like tonight :sad2: They're just little kids!!!!

Later gaters!!

As of 2pm they didn't cancel the game :sad2: Because Stephanie isn't going, they wouldn't call me if it got cancelled. Playing soccer in crappy weather is a way of life around here - it's my very least favorite thing about this sport!!!!

Oh, I remember those days coming home in a wet, muddy uniform when I played soccer in high school. I didn't like falling on my face in a small puddle on the field, either. And I know my Mom didn't appreciate me dragging in my dirty wet uniform :goodvibes

Slo- Hope you are okay!

I can not believe all of this rain. The creek (crick as they say around here) is huge and lots of streets are flooded. All that stormy weather had dd and the dog in bed with me last night. It was quite cozy...NOT! I think we are going to have a few nice days coming up, though. I'm hoping!
Nothing new here. Gym, school, that's about it!
