Just alot going on right now i didn't realize how much we pushed off all our September commitments into the end of October!

We already went to our Labor Day festival this morning (Septemberfest in Schaumburg).Chrissy and Matthew got to ride the rides for free. They have rides from 10am to 12noon for children w/ disabilities. This always seems to be the highlight for Chrissy and Matt for Labor Day weekend at the Fest. We are walking distance from the festival, too, which is cool! . Tonight, we are going out for my birthday dinner at TGIFridays. My parents will join us,and a friend of mine from church,too.

Four of my dh's coworkers sent home with my dh flowers, a cookie cake, and a b-day card with a gift card in it,all for me!! I was completely floored!! That was so sweet of them! Not expecting it at all! My dh had no clue, either the 4 women in his department and two other departments, were going to do this for me!! It was a very nice surprise!

I'm going to get some rest now before going out to dinner. My feet are hurting with the walking we did. Talk to you all later.

Stephanie's pictures today went really well - she always takes such nice pictures!!! I naturally ordered way to much (I did with Katie too ) but I just can't help it They are all so good!!!!

Wow....that was so nice of them!!!! What a nice surprise!!!! So, how does it feel being 40? Any different than 39? I didn't enjoy turning 30 , but I think turning 40 won't be bad at all Make sure you tell us what you did for your birthday when you get a chance

we're off to start some serious packing

I was just telling Kevin that I am going to start doing that this week. As of tomorrow, we are leaving in 18 days, and they are going to fly by!!!!

Hi everyone!

I did get a dress. I went to Ann Taylor and Talbot's in Wheaton, but didn't see anything (esp. for the money). So then my mom and I did go out to the outlet mall in Aurora. I really don't like it a lot. I've only been there one other time. I've never been to Gurnee Mills. Is it better, for those who can compare?

Anyway, I did a little looking, but the only thing I got was some truffles at Lindt.

Then finally I went to the Banana Republic outlet. I got five dresses to try on. The line for the dressing room was so long! But I did end up buying one of them. It's black (not so great for wedding, but what can you do), and it's knit, so not as dependant on my weight. And it was cheaper than I thought it was! So I have a dress unless I can find something better.

Gregory Raye, 52, of Campbell was on a solo two-week backcountry hike in Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks and was expected to return on Aug. 27, but has not yet made contact with his family.

People who may have seen Raye between Aug. 14-28 are asked to call the park dispatch at 565-3196.

Good Morning everyone! Well I am up bright and early, no Hayley today, my MIL took her overnight yesterday and she will be home later today around 3pm, so that gives me time alone with Katelyn and Katelyn really needs the one on one time with mommy.
