Hiya Sandy, we LOVE Michigan City just for the Lighthouse Outlets!!! but then they opened the one on 88 in Aurora and i'm all set now!

We had a fabulous time with dad today! we went out to breakfast, then shopping and shopping again, then back here to watch DREAMER i think that's what it was called. SUCH AN AWESOME MOVIE!!! Then off to Dinner and then back home to play DIsney Scene IT!!! (Dad bought it for us!!)

I cannot complain today sorry. i didn't do a thing to clean the house (unless it's laundry or the dishwasher i rarely do) and he loooves playing with the kids all weekend cause he misses them all week! he feels he has to make it up to them! so he does diapers and bed time and food! the whole she-bang!

I am! I played my VMK game because I wanted to do the new quest, but that's it for me, it's back to work I go. I have this thing I have to get finished by the end of the month, plus I have a couple of other things to do, so I'm working on this non-stop...except for a few breaks. I have stayed caught up since I posted earlier, so hopefully I'll just have those 15 (!) pages to read that I had missed.

Mac Eating all day and dairy queen sounds really good. Maybe we should at least get some exercise, like walking to the car to go to dairy queen.

I have 2 lazy dogs today.

I have a goofy ex husband who keeps telling me we should never have divorced I think he is going through the change of life. Yes I am convinced men go through menopause too. Some several times.

So what is everyone up to today? I should keep on my task of end of summer cleaning, but I don't want to. Maybe I'll grab the kid and go play mini golf today.

Good Sunday morning everyone!!!

It's so nice now that Stephanie is older. When she is got up this morning earlier than me, she entertained herself and didn't wake me up. She finally did wake me at 7:30am to see if she could watch some tv. I told her she could and then I got up shortly after to DIS Katie is still sleeping.

Today is going to be a very uneventful day, which is always nice. I think I'm going to study and maybe do a little laundry (all after I dye my hair ).

I don't think I'll touch this hot topic tonight!! My DH is being such a good guy. I guess I'd better just thank my lucky stars

Thanks Slo! I know I can always count on my DIS friends to make me feel better. I haven't hardly made any friends since I moved here 2 years ago, and days like today it gets rough.

I have a couple of good friends, but they live far away, so I understand how you feel. Now that we all have each other here, we need to stick together

Michele I think you look cute in that picture you showed where you had short hair!! I recently cut mine shorter and I love it. So easy to take care of!!

Hersey I hope you get out to play putt-putt golf today!! The first time we took Hunter to play mini-golf was spring of 2005 while we were on vacation. He was so cute! He kept picking up the ball and running with it and dropping it in the hole!! Of course this infuriated Lauren!!



Ok I forgot to mention/share my latest vacation finds!! You know, stuff to bring with on vacation.
Based on some good ideas I got here on the DIS I went out and bought:
Bodyglide stick at Dick's Sporting - this stops chaffing on the body and calluses on the feet, $10!!
Individual ice packs (the ones you squeeze to activate) - to keep you cool in the heat and humidity. It was mentioned these were at the Dollar Stores, but we couldn't find any there. But we did find them at Dick's as well. They were only 99 cents each!!! Good buy!!

I really need to stop buying stuff for vacation!!

Bunchkin I bought a separate deordant(duh) thingy for the feet, it helps to keep the blister away. Also don't forget moleskin to put on right a the start of a blister.
