Hi all!

Back from downtown. Well things certainly did not go according to plan today. DBF finally got around to making sure whether my presence would be a problem at his friends little get together today, and after reassuring me the whole week that it would be just fine, a half hour before we're supposed to and guess what? it isn't fine. I'm not invited. Unless I have a sex change. I was so angry at DBF for this because it was his job to check. I didn't make plans under the assumption I would be going with them. So I went up to the Mag Mile and did some shopping. Very theraputic. I went to Gino's East of Chicago for lunch and I do not recommend this place at all! Horrible to have to wait over an hour to get your food, especially if you're by yourself. Although the waiter was nice. He kept calling me beautiful and gorgeous. He sure knows how to make a lonely gal feel better. So that was nice.
I guess I'll put some Disney movies on and start packing tonight. DBF will see how he likes being left out of something. Hes not going to WDW-well he didn't want to-but I'll be having a great time without him likes hes having a great time without me right now. I just wish we could have a great time together once in while! Everytime we're alone together there is no special excursion. Just same ol same ol. Oh well....can I join you guys' support group for being angry at your SOs?

Sure! You know - the other day, when I was having a conversation (more like heated discussion) with DH, I told him that I knew the solution to the whole problem. Every time he does something to me that really makes me angry, or says something to hurt my feelings, I'll punch him in the face. Then we'll be even I said "We can forget reasoning, forget counseling, etc"

Well, at least it made it both us laugh in light of the serious mood - we still have a sense of humor and often have to stop being serious for a moment just to have a good laugh

Because my DH was been a crab all night!! Come to find out he's been acting like a jerk because he doesn't feel good!! And this allows him to act like a **** all night!!

Good evening friends!!!!

We just got home about an hour ago after a busy day. I went and got my hair cut, which turned out great Then we drove to Michigan City to find my test place, which turned out to be easy Then we figured, since we are here we may as well go to Lighthouse Mall, which Stephanie came home with a couple of new outfits . Then we went out to dinner at Edwardos, which was tasty Then we came home. It was a good day!!!!!

Let me know if their power is still out.

Good evening ladies. I don't think I'll touch this hot topic tonight!! My DH is being such a good guy. I guess I'd better just thank my lucky stars.
Quiet night at work tonight, too. Kids were almost ready for bed when I got home. We read our story of the night, pulled the mickey head off the countdown poster and off to bed. I'll be headed there shortly. Work in the AM and no chance of being cancelled tomorrow.

That is a great solution! Can I borrow that for DBF? There are way too many times in a week that I feel like punching him in the face

So is this the point where we start setting up regular coffee and shopping therapy sessions for club members? Ok everyone can come, but remember people, its THERAPY so therefore what you spend doesn't matter

Thanks Slo! I know I can always count on my DIS friends to make me feel better. I haven't hardly made any friends since I moved here 2 years ago, and days like today it gets rough.

Glad you had a great day in Michigan City. I love that place. They have a great brewpub/restaurant right behind the outlet that has an awesome burger on pretzel bread. YUM-O.

Going to Merrillville again tomorrow to meet up with DBF's bro and give him some stuff. We'll probably eat lunch at Kelsey's in Sherrervile. Ever been there?

Well last night DBF's friends didn't get here until Midnight,
but we still went up to the North side and met them for a drink.
We ended up getting home about 2 and going to sleep by 3. I'm a little groggy this morning still, so forgive potential bad spelling. And they want to meet downtown for lunch....but the place sounds really nice-Gibson's-so
I think I can drag myself out for that!
