we love to dress up!!


i never met another theatre major! 2 of my 3 best friends were too!

One is a dance and theatre teacher at some school in Naperville and one i have no clue what she does, but it's at that same school!

How cool! Yes, I had a double major, Music Theater with a minor in Dance. Now I'm just a mommy, and the only dancing I do is with my kids and the Wiggles.

GORGEOUS voices. They are soooooo soooo good, but sometimes i think they get too scared to audition for roles out of the community scene..like the real stuff. i wish they understood how good they were.

The musical theatre/Dance major Sang the song i walked down the aisle to at the SWAN (AT LAST)

And the other gal sang the Ave Maria at my Church wedding!

How nice! They must have added a beautiful and personal touch to your wedding. :

I've never really considered myself much of a singer, although I've been told I have a good voice. I always said I am a dancer who sings. I was a dancer for almost 20 years.

Disneymama and DMM- My dfriend I mentioned about, here last Sunday, she works at the Renfair. She is a theater major. She has a full-time job at a university as a theater manager. She is a Managing Director and Theater Coordinator where she works. Her whole family(cousins, aunts, uncles) are in music and/or theater! I only get to see my freind when she works at the Renfair, so I see her once every so many yrs.

Not to much exciting happening today. I'm going to get my haircut at 12 noon, and then maybe we can go into the pool. But we'll have to see

**Poor Lauren is not having much luck lately I hope her head is feeling okay today.

I didn't, but I should have. After they told me not to come, I told Katie she could do whatever she wanted since she stood so nice for a 1/2 hour letting me curl her hair. The first thing she did was go lay down on her nicely curled hair and I let her watch a movie That was the end of the nicely curled hair

It did gave me closure. And also we still have sessions at work with the grief counselor.

God Morning all!!

Today we have someone coming over to give up a price on our retaining wall!! I'm sure it's not going to be cheap as it has to be at least 4ft tall to get rid of the hill in our yard!!

Mr.Bunchy is totally not happy with his workers comp claim person. She finally sent him a settlement letter for his approval and her figures are off by $,$$$!!! Being in insurance I know what the scale of calculation is for workers comp (and I have the states workers comp handbook too!! ). I have no idea if she just punched in a wrong figure to get to the total she came up with or what. Her figures don't even make sense!!
So Mr. Bunchy is mad!! He's been frustrated with her all along though. At one point I had to speak to her supervisor becuase she hadn't mailed him his weekly check in over 3 weeks!!! Her supervisor was upset and very appologetic!! So this just seems par for the course with her. So now I have to straighten this out on Monday, since there is no way Mr Bunchy is going to discuss this with her while he is at work!!

Michelle I have worn nice clothing to the theater, and even last winter when it was freezing a pair of jeans and my faux fur coat!! You will see all kinds of different styles of dress at the theater. But I go there to have a good time, not to impress someone else!!
Feel free to dress up, but for a matinee show I don't know how many people will actually be dressed up!!

Good morning Bunchkin!!!

The green is almost all out of my hair. I've been using this expensive shampoo to strip it out, and it did take most of it out. When I go get my hair cut today, I'm going to have them cut the rest off. Then I can dye it to my normal red color (I miss my normal hair color) and then schedule to get my photo taken for my new business cards for real estate

I'm sorry to hear about the workmans comp problems - how frustrating I hope it all gets worked out
