Morning...
I am driving Eric to school this am. Working from home today, great day to do that since it is raining outside. Geoff left already and i offered to drive him but he said he was ok and left.

Thanks for the b'day wishes, my actual b'day is Saturday. but I always celebrate for several weeks. I went out to dinner with friends on Saturday, had lunch with another friend on Tuesday. Friday after Eric's football practice, the whole family will go to Weber grill for b'day eve dinner. We were going to go on Saturday but Eric's football game is at 7:30 pm, so that will be our evening.
First day of school was fine according to the boys. Geoff came home at 5:30 'cause he had cross country running after school and then had tons of homework. Eric got home early (2:45ish) no home work, so he ws bored until football practice at 5:30. I worked from home yesterday so they could get off to school the first morning without an issues. DH is in Dallas. Tonight is Troop Committe. We are going to set the budget for the year etc. Geoff will be there to present his Eagle Project and get approval to proceed to work on it. ( fingers crossed he gets approval)

he was up and laughing in the monitor!! i was still having my OJ with Sal who was about to leave, so we left him until he started to cry. I was hoping he would go back to bed but no luck! suddenly i heard the rattling of the criob, so i knew he had pulled himself up and was shakin' it!! what a crazy dude! so off i went to get him and we played and he crashed at about 8am! good news though Autumn is still asleep!!
so if it gets better we will make a run to the library today!!
but the backpacks (Nemo or Dash) are 9.99 and the attachable lunch tote (Nemo or Dash are 5.99) They also have the Dash 3pc luggage set for 19.99 for kids 
but i'm sure she is fine when she goes on vacation, she tends to forget about us all the time. I just wish she would realize that with all that is going on, we worry about her. 
We have built a new middle school here on the same campus. Kids from both schools are going to ride 1 bus, it's just luck of the draw which school your bus is going to drop-off at. Just our luck, hers is dropping off at the old school (she's attending the new one). SUPPOSEDLY there is going to be a sidewalk connecting the two. Hmm...as of yesterday, there were construction fences up because they are remodeling the old school now -- with kids attending, NO complete sidewalk to connect the two and to get from Bus Stop Old School to New School you have to walk right through the middle of the parking lot. That's just insane, is it coming to shock to someone that umm...Wednesday is the first day of school?

but aside from Mexican i'm a danger in the kitchen!! 
and everything i learned i learned from my grandfather or my mother!!

Mostly informational letters from our principal, the PTA co-presidents, the teachers,etc. Also permission forms for this and that to sign, our school picture day forms to fill out and send money(our school pictures are real early this yr, on Sept. 6!). I still have half the papers and forms to go thru 
. the Great Hotels show with Samantha Brown. I saw that epi yest. It is a repeat show, seen it a couple of times here and there on the Travel Channel., but fun to watch!

Rather than waiting for the milk to land on the floor, I figure it is just safer to get up and assist with breakfast.
