Debbie I like Barry too! :teeth: Have since I was a kid! I only have 1 cd of his though, it's more recent and has all his big hits on it.
He still have such a strong voice after all these years. And you can't say that about a lot of people who have been in the business as long as he has. :thumbsup2

Also there was my favorite show to watch each week were I got to hear him sing the opening song....AMERICAN BANDSTAND!!! :dance3:
 Loved that show!!!

I'm losing track of birthdays!! So, Happy Birthday Everyone!! ;)

I agree!!! I was trying to scan to catch up & it appears we have lots of birthdays!!! I know I'm going to miss someone (since I haven't even finished scanning yet & kiddos need to be put to bed).

So party: :cake: :bday: to all our October "babies" out there.

Hi all-
Matthew's rocket derby ended up being cancelled today, the Cubmaster said the ground was too wet for it. It is rescheduled for next Sat. So most likely won't be able to make the pumpkin farm meet :guilty: oh well. We also may have another thing going on next Sat. as well.

Bunchkin- Thanks for the well wishes for Chrissy's MRI results :goodvibes
Your dinner tonight sounds delish!! Esp. the dessert. Yum!!

Mac- maybe next summer, my family and you can do a G.A. meet sometime?
Depends what's going on next summer with us tho, but probably can fit something in ;) . I know BethanyF(don't know if you know her), she and her ds go up there quite a bit. I think they have season passes.

NiteOwl- enjoyed your pics! :woohoo:

Debbie- Enjoyed your siggie pic! It is a pain resizing the pics on photobucket  I have the same problem as you do with resizing. Sometimes I have to leave the pic on photobucket a few hours, turn off hte computer. Then turn computer back on a few hours later, get back on photobucket and then it's already resized. No clue why that happens with me, but it does.
Have fun at the Barry Manilow concert! Or as my dh calls him, barely man enough :confused3  But I like Barry! :thumbsup2
I love his older songs from the '70s and he was so cute in the late 70s, too!
I had a crush on him back then :goodvibes. I never understood why he didn't get married, unless he is married, but I don't think he is. :scratchin

Hi Eeyore :wave2:

Hi Donna :wave2: I didn't know the mom of the family that won the YOAMD sweepstakes is a DISer? I should get over to hte TR board and read her TR!

DMM, where are you? Hope you will post here sometime soon. :)

Have a good evening everyone.

This is a little early for tomorrow, but here goes.
Happy Birthday, Hersey!!! :bday: :cake: :jumping1: party: :dancer: :dancer: :rainbow:
Hope you have a great day tomorrow and Alex makes a wonderful meal for you!

I'm sooo jealous! I wanted to go!! I had to watch my DNephew tho, while my DD went with DBro, DSil & DNiece to see Blue Man Group, for DNiece's 5th BD. They loved BMG tho. I'm sure you had a Great Time! More to tell me about Tuesday! :thumbsup2

All the birthdays!

And Happy Birthday Hersey!!!

I just found some clip art and had to figure all that out, because I'm tired of my birthday wishes looking so shabby! :rotfl:

I've been tagged! I just noticed that. :sunny: Wow, I guess I've finally arrived! :smooth:

My friends from Indy are here for a few days for "fall break". (How come we never had fall break in school?? :confused3 ) So today we went to a little Fall Fest that was going on near them. They had a few little rides/activities for the kids, and they each got candy and pumpkikn. Then I went over to where they were staying and visited for a while. So that was nice. :goodvibes I may or may no do anything with them on Sunday.

Good morning everyone! Thanks for the birthday wishes. I did most of the housework last night so I can spend quality couch time today :cool1:. Looks like today is not going to be an outside kind of day.

What is everyone doing today?

Good Sunday morning everyone!!! :surfweb:

We went out and bought a new toilet yesterday, because the girls toilet (our main bathroom, but I call it the girls since we have our own) kept getting clogged. So, my MIL & FIL are coming over today so my FIL can help Kevin install it.

We a very nice night last night by making a fire with the girls. We had dinner outside again, and I ate way to much. Then I tried playing tag with the girls and I have to say, I'm out of shape. Especially after I've eaten about 5 smores  I better start working out again.

NiteOwl - Wow, that's great you are going back to The World in 11 days :cool1: Are you doing the MNSSHP again?
**Your pictures were fun to look at, thanks for posting them.

Rosemarie - Sorry that Matthews RockerDerby was cancelled yesterday :guilty: I hope he's able to do it next weekend :wizard:

Debbie - Very cute picture of your DD in your siggie :)
**Did you have fun at the Barry Manilow concert last night? I love Barry Manilow and I have always wanted to see him. Maybe next time he's in town I'll take my mom :)

Crissup - :wave2:

Donna - I'm going to have to go look at that TR you posted about (thanks for doing that). I didn't know she was a DISer :teeth:

Tiggerrnn - I know what you mean about long lines for the Photopass Photographers, it was the same way when we were there. I wasn't real happy with our Photopass pictures this year, but there are a couple I want to order for us :thumbsup2
**I hope you enjoy the rest of your B-day weekend

Bunchkin - How was dinner with your Mom? I hope it was real nice. That caramal apple pie sounds really yummy!!! :goodvibes When you get a chance, please post the receipe, I would like to try it.

macraven - I'm glad you had fun at Fright Fest. I haven't been there for about 10 years, and I would like to go back sometime. Maybe we could have a DIS meet there next year :thumbsup2

eeyore - Enjoy your son being home from college :)

Becky - :wave2:

Kim - Kevin spoils me rotten, I'm very lucky :goodvibes . The Precious Moments are now sitting on my dining room table waiting for a home. I'm running out of room in my 2 curio cabinets, and I think I'm going to put some seasonal ones away to make room for the new ones  I'm going to have to play around with that today.

Leigh - Congrats on your new tag :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Well, Katie is begging me for some breakfast, so I must get going. Have a good Sunday today everyone!!!

:thumbsup2 Barry Manilow was fabulous!!!!!! He is truely an incredible performer! He is just so sweet! We even brought my DD princess: (spoiled) and she loved it! She was like the only kid there. It was crazy. I took pix and little videos. It was really a ton of fun!
Have a great Sunday! :disrocks:
:surfweb: Still working on the pix at photobucket........
Debbie

a very cold sunday morning to all the chicagoland homies here.

about to head out the door for church, got you all covered for the week.

yes, lets do a culvers meet and next summer do a six flags meet.

i think i can buy some discounted tickets for GA.
when spring rolls around, let me see what i can get.

i have the season pass and my bank in town sold discounted tickets, jewel did also this year. bought the season pass for $75 plus tax. that was a good deal as a one day ticket is $55.

catch you all later

Me again....
I am still doing laundry, organizing, trying to find missing stuff, etc.
:sad2: I CAN NOT believe it but BOTH my DH and I forgot to check the middle drawer between the beds at GF! I know of two things that were in it for sure and the GF hasn't found the stuff yet. How can they not just put in a box and send it to you when you leave it like that. Oh well....
My luggage broke when we were going home too. It just gave me an excuse to buy the WDW luggage I had my eye on though. My DH sent me to the gift shop to buy a couple luggage belts and I came back with the new luggage! Ooops! I must have misunderstood what he wanted me to buy!!!! :rotfl2:
The weather is too chilly here for my liking. It is really hard to be back.
:sunny: WDW was sunny everyday!!! :sunny:
Again have a great Sunday!
Debbie

If you do it during "Scout days" the tickets are really cheap. Anyone can buy them, just going to the local council. I know we had some friends join us & I bought their tickets. When I went to council they never asked me anything, just told them I wanted X amount of tickets and paid. We also added on the $10 all you can eat lunch, which was pretty good. OK, I just found the old flyer. It was $26 admission on those days. It's the first Saturday in May for next year (last year they also had the first Saturday in June -- which is when we went).

Just thought I would throw that out there.

 Welcome back Big Ben...I looked for you and tiggerfic but I had to use my imagination...... :rotfl2:
Well here's my attempt at pix and descriptions....
October 12, 2006
Day One Disney….
It was my son’s first birthday and we celebrated by a laid back day of shopping and hanging out. Dinner was at Cinderella’s Royal Table followed by Mickey’s Not So Scary party!. It was so cute to see DS very first reaction to all the characters. We didn’t know if he would laugh, scream, cry or what. Basically he just always looked stunned!

MNSSP was great. The crowds are so much smaller and we hit some rides and watched the awesome parade! We actually decided mid way through the trip to go the MNSSP again (Grandma’s treat). It was incredible. The second time it was without the guys and then we eventually even dropped off the DS to them. DD was on a roll and wanted to do everything!

My DD thought that the dance party was a blast!!!

Couldn’t believe this find…..

Here are a few more of my favorite pix from the parties….
DD as Cinderella is the party on the 12th and the Halloween outfit is from the party on the17th…

The guys did Richard Petty on the first full day too. Unfortunately,
my Dad lost all the pix from his camera. Fortunately, they at least bought the professional one (in the frame).

with season ticket renewal booklets, you get days where you can bring in a guest for free also half price days.

$26 is a great price.
i still have a couple of free day ticket coupons.
