What are your birthday plans?

Happy Birthday Tiggerrn! party:
Kim hope you had a good one! :flower3: See ya Tuesday. I'll be the one with tears in her eyes :sad2: I'm so meladramatic!
(Still gonna type about the trip when I have a nice chunk of time to sit here :surfweb: )

Good Saturday morning to all!

Carrie- I did notice you are going back to the World again?? Didn't you go twice in hte last 4 or 5 months? You lucky dog you! :teeth:
You have DVC, right?

Slo- Glad Steph, you, and the rest of the family had a nice time at the Fun Fair last night! Wow, you got some nice gifts for your birthday. Thanks for sharing :)

Mac- how was Fright Fest last night? I have never been to G.A. for Fright Fest, as Chrissy doesn't like Halloween spooky anything! She is frightened of any Halloween decorations, etc

Becky- Congrats on your 6 yr. old son's artwork! :thumbsup2 :woohoo:
What is his name?

Hi to everyone else I missed :wave2:

I have to see soon if Matthew's rocket derby is still on for today, due to hte rain. We have to finish decorating it still. If the rocket derby is still on, just Matthew and dh is going. Chrissy and I will probably stay home.

Talk to you all later.

I'm losing track of birthdays!! So, Happy Birthday Everyone!! ;)

Rose marie---Nope no DVC, just some luck in finding cheap air fare and a friend who goes also and we split the room. This time we got RT for $135 and the room is $88 a night (POP), she is using some of her Visa points so we only have to split a one night stay. It will be me, Bonnie and Stacey. I also finally upgraded our tickets to AP's the last time. To me the biggest expense is buying the tickets to the parks. We are leaving on Thursday night Nov 2nd and coming home Sunday the 5th. Stacey has no school on Friday the 3rd so it worked out well.

We upgraded our tickets on Sunday Oct 1st and we received the new tickets for YOAMD.

This one was funny because Sarah kept insisting in wasn't the right couch, I told her Minnie had re-upholstered. :rotfl:

Last one I promise :teeth:
This one took awhile because Bonnie said she knew where it was taken, in her favorite spot. So we went there and it wasn't so she said it must have been her other favorite spot :rotfl2:

LOL, Carrie, how true is THAT! :rotfl2:

Happy Saturday, Chicago friends!

TIGGERN...happy birthday! Enjoy your day! :cool1: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

HERSEY...Thanx so much for posting the recipe...I would LOVE to hear any and all crockpot recipes you guys have tried and liked. One that my family enjoys is:

stew meat: cut in cubes
one can cream of mushroom soup
one packet of Lipton's onion soup mix
3/4 cup of cooking wine

cook on high about 7 hours or low about 3 hours
serve over rice

BECKY...Congratulations to your son! How cool! :thumbsup2

CARRIE...thanks for posting those pictures, very cute! I'm soooo jealous that you are going back to the world...again!!! I LOVE the way the new tickets look!!!!

Have you guys seen the report on the trip reports board from the woman who won the Year of a Million Dreams contest to have the Magic Kingdom to her family all by themselves?? It's a GREAT trip report, and there is a link to the video of them in the MK all by themselves, too! :goodvibes How lucky!!!

I hope you all have a super Saturday, and our birthday weekend ladies get treated like queens today (and every day)!! :)

Tomorrow is the day I choose for Alex's cook for mom day! It's also going to be my birthday dinner. My neighbor's are coming over (I'll cook their part of the dinner and Alex will cook mine plus clean up) I think the best part will be me not doing the cleanup :cool1:

Donna What's your definition of easy meals?.

Thanks all for the birthday wishes.
Soccer for me this afternoon was cancelled-we didn't have enough players to play. Guess they'll reschedule. Sort of glad. Going to take my pix to Doc's and get them printed up. I have to ask DH to download some to the computer, then maybe I could share. I have some from photopass, if anyone wanted to PM me their email address, I could email them to you. We didn't do many. Seemed we were always in a hurry to get somewhere and there was always a line. After I got home and saw the few, wish I'd made the effort to stop more often. I like the professional shots. But I did take over 200 pix on my own plus videos. So I guess it's OK.
DS and I picked up some pumpkins today. Real estate agent was giving them away free so we got one for each kid. DS and I started his. Now he wants to cook the seeds. Lost my recipe. I'm sure there is one online here somewhere. DS makes me laugh. I cut the top off and he went to pull the guts out and got all grossed out. :rotfl2: He never seems to remember this part from year to year!!
Well, happy Saturday everyone. It's not raining and the sun peaks out every once in awhile, so all in all not a bad day. Have gutters to clean and leaves to rake. Talk to you all later.
Thanks again for the birthday wishes. Really appreciated.

Good Afternoon All!!

I poked my head into the thread this morning but never go to post as I kept getting iterrupted. And then I stepped away for a few hours to clean and for lunch. So now I am back! DH is working and the kids are occupied. :teeth:

NiteOwl Your pictures are great! And congrats for heading back to WDW soon! :cheer2:

Donna 7 hours on HIGH and 3 hours on LOW!!!! :rotfl:

Hersey So what is Alex cooking? :)

slo Tendons were felling fine this morning. But after being on my feet cleaning for the past couple hours, they are now hurting again. :(
Thank for asking though. :goodvibes
Playdates can be a tricky situation to handle at first. I remember Lauren's first play date when she was in preschool. I actually went with her and stayed. I explained to the mom, whom I was already friendly with, that Lauren was hesitant to be away from me in a 'strange' house. The mom was totally fine with the situation and invited me to come over as well. We all then had lunch together. After that Lauren was raring to go!

Hi to everyone else!!!

Gotta run! My mom is coming over soon and we are having dinner together.
I already made a Caramel Apple pie!! Which I have vanilla ice cream to go with it. And I'm also making BBQ ribs, baked beans, and the most awesome fried potatos and onions. My mom is bringing some bread from Panera!!! :cool1:

I will probably need to be ROLLED to bed tonight!! :rotfl2:

Hi Guys,
I am experimenting at photobucket right now. It looks like it's going to take me awhile to download my pix there. I added this GF one of my DD to my signature but can't shrink it. I tried to resize it but it didn't do anything...Weird!
Wish me luck. If I can get the hang of it I can start a trip report.

fright fest was fun. i think if you have littles they would like it also.

i go so much since it is only 10 miles from my drive way to the park's parking lot and have the parking sticker and season pass there.

last night was a walk on for rides.
then i hit the shows.

every friday is usually dead. no lines for rides, no crowds.
today is was fairly empty until noon time.

i go out in the summer just to do a few rides, or a certain show then return home.
sometimes i go out to walk around and grab food at aunt martha's chicken place.

anytime anyone here wants to go there and needs company, give me a holler and i will met up with you for awhile there.

i have met up with a couple of disers there before. one gal just for an hour to yak a bit as she was with her family and i only wanted to stay for a short time.
the other diser was for a longer time.

fright fest is kind of kewl but nowhere near hhn at universal.
i have been going to the motherland in late sept then hitting hhn for a 3 day weekend for their events. been doing disney and universal yearly since 1993. been doing the hhn event since 2000. it is always great fun.

right now i am planning a trip to the motherland so i will be at epcot when they have their 25 year anniversary on october 1st. don't know yet if anything major will be done but i hope so.

hope you all have had a great day so far.

:cool2: Oh I forgot to mention I am going to the Barry Manilow concert tonight. Any other "fanilows" out there? I know...I am a big dork but my Mom got me hooked on him and now my DD already loves him. Crazy isn't it!
Debbie

:cheer2: :cheer2: Happy Birthday Tiggrrn!! :cheer2: Hope you have a "ME" day!! :wizard:

mac - I used to go to GA all the time!! Then the darn dizzies hit me, and I cant do their roller coasters that I LOVE!! Oct 1, 2007 Epcot - now that sounds fab - - I hear that Disney will more than likely offer free dining again too!!

Debbie - count me in as a Fanilow - and I like Clay Aiken too!! (they have to be related in another life dontcha think??)

NiteOwl - Loved the pics.... I knew I should've done ap's this year - but it felt like a huge jump from the ten day (about $700) to AP's (about $1200) (total for the 3 of us!!

DS is home from college - so you know what that means?? You never see him, except twice a day!! :wizard:

Earlier I forgot to say.......

Happy Birthday Tiggerrn2!!! Hope you had a Magical Day!!!!
