Chewing gum is not sold at WDW but a similar messy stuff that is both easy to drop by accident and easy to step on and track about is chocolate. So many times I have seen (and have had) chunks of chocolate crack off and fall of a Mickey Bar (chocolate covered vanilla ice cream). When it lands on sunny or warm pavement it quickly turns into a brown ooze. The resulting mess usually remains long enough to get on people's shoes.

Now I don't expect WDW to stop selling Mickey Bars (and I hope WDW does not stop selling Mickey bars which I love).

But this is just a "heads up".

Do not eat ice cream while riding a bike or while roller skating. Ice cream melts incredibly fast in a breeze even at 50 degrees F.

When the chocolate gets on your shoe thats a little bonus snack for later. You can get your chocolate fix when you're stuck in line or on the bus :earseek: yum

What about Dog doo doo??
It's easier to see than the aforementioned chocolate.

Doo doo (from horses) will probably only be found along the trolley track at Magic Kingdom. Pets are not permitted in the parks.

Chewing gum may not be sold in WDW, but I still stepped in a wad of it while there 2 weeks ago. People could at least throw there gum in the garbage and not on the ground or on the wall in the Splash Mountain line. I know what you mean about the Mickey bars, they are good but very very messy.

Oh, the Mickey bar chocolate seemed to be everywhere on our Feb. trip! We found ourselves dodging blobs many times. And my 5 yr old ds had a nasty experience with some one day at MGM. He grabbed onto the top of a little fence that was near the big hat, and when he lifted his hand back up, it was covered in brown goo. BLECH. He started gagging, thinking it was something ELSE (I could smell the chocolate smell immediately, and it looked just like melted Mickey bar). So as I was using my stock of Wet Ones to wipe off his hand, I kept telling him "It's JUST chocolate! I promise!!" I actually couldn't keep myself from laughing, he was having such a hard time NOT gagging. LOL :rotfl: Poor kiddo. ;)

Eewww! :crazy2:

I can deal with stepping on chocolate, but sitting in a blob is truly shocking!! :scared1: Trust me. ;) This happened to me in April. God only knows how long I walked around MK like that :earseek: ...til my DH noticed. and my DD had to run to the bathroom with me and wash my shorts. :love2: I love her.

I'm blaming the whole incident on Stitch. :goodvibes

I have a horrible/funny dog doo doo story. We flew with our German Shepherd from North Carolina to Chicago and when we got to the airport he was howling in his crate. My (then) husband (now ex) decided to take him out of the crate in the baggage claim area to stop him from howling. He started to squat right there so my ex started walking with him thinking the dog was walking behind him. He was actually dragging the squatting pooping dog across the airport. Some lady behind him was dodging the "land mines" and yelling "JUST STOP AND LET HIM POOP IN ONE PLACE" but he was oblivious. I said to my Mom, "how are we going to clean this up? There are no paper towels in the bathrooms just hand driers" I felt horrible but there was nothing in sight for us to clean it up with. When we found my ex outside, he was surprised the dog didn't have to "go" anymore. :guilty:

I had to read this post just because of the title. :rotfl: Too cute. I guess I have never experienced the melted Mickey bars at WDW, but I will keep my eyes out for it. :p

Oh I forgot the WDW poop story, we rode the trolley one morning and the kids were VERY excited we got to sit up front! They even commented how we were the last ones on and got the best seats....well we were at an eye/tail level with the horse for the ride. My daughter kept saying "I smell horse's booty" then we got to see something from a front row view we never ever wanted to see/smell :scared1:

I'm sorry I know this was obviously not funny to the little guy but it struck me funny too! I can just picture you trying to convince him it's chocolate! :rotfl:

I saw something similar last May at MK. My sis and I were waiting in front of the castle for the Surprise Celebration show to start. Tehre was a family next to us w/ a toddler in a stroller and a maybe 4YO girl. The 4YO reached in the stroller to get something from the toddler, and when she pulled her and out, she was screaming bloddy murder "She got poop on me!" over & over. Turns out the toddler had been eating something chocolate and gotten it all over herself, and the mom kept trying to tell the 4YO it was just chocolate, but she was having none of it! I couldn't help it, but I was dying laughing. Fortumately, the 4YO was so caught up she didn't see me laughing at her. I'm sure that would have started another fit if she had. :rotfl:
