Great pic by the way!

Where did you get it?

I remember watching the premier of "If I could Turn Back Time" on MTV. That was when my mother stopped letting me watch the channel LOL

my partner is a huge Cher fan. Been ever since the beginning. Been to her concerts, she's alright.

I love the pic though!

I'm definitely not a Cher, Bette, Liza, Judy, etc... fan at all.

My favorite song of all time is Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult. True. It's my ring tone.

And the other half is a HUGE country/western fan.

But I do have LOTS of 80's New Wave, i.e. New Order, Erasure, OMD, etc... on my ipod so my gay membership card is very much secure, eh?

As long as you have Dead or Alive you're ok. Since their lead singer is now MTF, they have become one of the gayest bands of the 80's :rotfl:

I like Cher.
I had great tickets to her concert about 5 years ago. I had planned to take my mom to the show. But a few days before the concert I met a guy, and we clicked and we ended up kissing all night....... long story short he gave me strep and I was so sick that I missed the concert.

He became by boyfriend for about a year, but sadly my mom didn't even get me a shirt. so I have nothing to show for the whole event.

We love Cher! The DBF and I, saw her three times during the Farewell Tour.

I love Cher! Gabby, as a surprise, took me to the Farewell Tour when it came through Atlanta, the first time. The seats were way up in nosebleed. We sat down and I was trying to be cool, but the angle of the seats makes you feel like you are going to just tumble forward and smack face down on the floor....then the graphics board that surrounds the lower part of the arena started spinning back and forth and that is when I started to sweat. After a few more minutes, I was in full blown panic attack. Yep, I climbed my way up the stairs holding onto the rail for dear life, sat on the floor outside of the door darn near unable to breathe, and in the process, I scared the bejezzus out of Gabby.

Luckily, once I regained my composure, we found that I am not the only one to have such issues with the nosebleed seating at Phillips Arena and they hold a small clutch of crappy, but much lower seats out for each event, just to make sure that everyone is happy. I paid for the upgrade and we enjoyed the heck out of the show. Maggie

Brendrek: You're lucky! I saw her on the Believe '99 tour and the Farewell tour in '02 when she came through Orlando. In 04, I had an opportunity to see her in Tampa the day after my bday (Dec 16 04 was show date) but no, I couldn't get tickets. :(

Oh well, I'll get tickets to see her in VEGAS this year at Caesar's. :)
