Jordan: he looked over at Dawn. After talking to Marcus he wondered if they should ask her to leave after she was better. He shook the thought from his head, that didn't matter now. He stood up and got some more water for the girls and set it down. "if you need it" he said kindly.

Dawn: "If I ever get better," she said hoarsely, "I think I'm going to leave. I don't want to put you into any danger. I promise I won't hurt anyone ever again. I don't care if you believe me or not, it's the truth."

Marina: "You don't have to leave, you always have a place with us."

It wasn't that he thought she was going to hurt them again he believed she wouldn't, but he still had a feeling of fear towards her. He knew how powerful she was, and he didn't know if he liked being around the person who almost ended his life, once she was healthy again she would be capable to and that scared him. She then picked it up with her broken hand, winced, and did it to the other hand. "see? Now I can't choke you."

Marina: she turned to see Dawn breaking the bones in her hand. "What are you doing?!"

Jordan: "no! Stop!" he said trying to get her not to hurt herself. But after the fact he caught himself feeling an ever so slight sense of ease that she couldn't in fact choke him again. He immediately felt awful for even thinking it. "maybe I should go" he said standing, he felt like he was undoing all of the work Marina was doing to help Dawn.

Marina: "Please don't be upset. Here look, I drew a picture for you." she pulled a small sketchbook from under some rocks. "It was the one I had back home. It still has some of my art from before in it. I found it hanging off a tree. I found some birds, and thought this looked pretty."
