Wow...my day was soooo made today. I booked my vacation this morning because of the free dining. So tonight I called up to make my ADR's to beat the rush of people calling in and the resulting lack of good times available. Just for kicks I asked to be transferred to V&A's to ask about the Chefs Table. I asked the woman what was the last day she was booking. She said Oct. 1. It was around 8pm this evening and I said "I'm sure I know the answer, but is it available?" And to my extreme surprise she said "yes it is"!!! Wow. I instantly picked that one up and now have reservations for the Chefs Table that night. I'm sooooo excited  I've always wanted to try the Chefs Table and was all set to begin calling every morning this week at 7am to try and book it, but my luck was good and I'm all set!!!

Anyone ever experienced the Chefs Table? What do I have instore for myself?

I don't know ,, my hubby wouldn't put on a suit for food ,,, not ever ,,
but from what I've read on here,,, You are going to have a very nice evening . ,,,,, Have a good time and enjoy the wonderful food.

You have a 3-hour long delight in store!!! Added to the fine service and special attention from the chefs, you get to sample everything V&A's has to offer on the menu that evening.
Suggest you do NOT eat lunch that day!!

We just got back, and dined at the Chef's Table last Saturday for the first time. It was fabulous. We were truly pampered. And very surprised. Our reservation was at 6, and it was 10:30 when we left! 4 1/2 hours!!!! :thumbsup2

V & A isn't covered under the dining plan is it?

No. If it was, it would be five credits for the Dining Room and seven for the Chef's Table. And that is without the wine pairings.

I have done CT three times. It is wonderful. According to my late wife, who was a gourmet cook, it was, among other things, the best cooking lesson she ever had.

Here is one of the better reviews, complete with photos, of dining at CT.

BTW, Uncleromulus was slightly wrong when he said 3 hours for CT. For most people it tends to be in the 4 to 4½ hour range. But it will definnitely be one of the best meals you ever had.

WOW thanks guys.....we are honored that our review was listed twice in this post. glad to hear people have enjoyed it. We have another one to write after our Easter week trip so watch for it!!

Willy Dogs, we hope you have a wonderful experience. we are sure you will enjoy it. Mr Disney also has a wonderful review that you may want to read to help get you more excited :goodvibes

Thanks for the link to the review. It looks amazing and I'm so glad that I was able to get a reservation without any real effort. lol

I can't wait till I get to experience it first-hand!!! :thumbsup2

A Chef's Table experience is incredible. CONGRATS!

It defintiely is about 4 - 4 1/2 hours.....but it is wonderfully relaxing....

Our first CT was last Easter Sunday and Kevin gave me the CT again this Easter Sunday for my birthday! One week from Sunday....WOO HOO!
