Not very recent, but we did eat ear during our Christmas trip as part of the Candlelight Processional package and really enjoyed it. I posted a dining review with photos, but unfortunately I can't seem to get it to pull up when I search...server too busy keeps popping up.
We, DH, DS who was 13 when we ate there, and I thought it was quite good! I loved the cheese plate appetizer. DS wasn't thrilled though with the vegetable soup...it was a puree, cream soup...looked like split pea, but tasted fine. He just wasn't thrilled with the appearance. DH had the escargot and enjoyed it, despite it being rich in that butter sauce. We each had the beef tenderloin...done just right and tasty! The potatoes were very creamy, but thought it needed some more seasoning as it was a bit blah. The green beans were good. DS loved his dessert...the cream puffs and since he doesn't like almonds, it was easy to ask for it without. DH and I had the dessert in honor of the 50th celebration...very light, refreshing, but the cookie was crisp on the edges and chewy in the center. Personally, I kinda liked that difference.
As a family, we said we'd eat there again.
Hope this helps!
