At which one would you rather have dinner?

I didn't put an 'other' option because last time I did, I didn't get much of an answer to my real question :rotfl:

Oh, and aside from the food poll, which one can you see Illuminations from? Thanks in advance!!! :thumbsup2

Bistro hands down. There really is no comparison. Bistro is much more upscale and the food is wonderful - I loved the sea bass I had there last trip, and would go there again just for that. And you can see Illuminations from Bistro, though you'd need to be near a window, and not all tables would have a view.

There is no comparison, it's an apples and oranges thing. Les Chefs is a casual cafe setting with more basic food. Bistro is an upscale experience so it's not really fair to compare the two.

That said, I have been to both and you couldn't pay me to eat at Les Chefs again. The food quality was that of a frozen, boxed dinner and the service was poor.

Bistro wasn't amazing, but the food was pretty good and the service was nice.
Don't count on an Illuminations views at Bistro - you would have to get a window table and hope there aren't trees blocking the view. If you want to be sure to see Illuminations, make your ADR with enough time to finish before the show so you can stake out a spot outside around the lagoon.

as for me Bistro is better...I like the food of them...It's wonderful

Bistro - no comparison.

Neither is really "good" for illuminations - just go outside from either to watch.

We like both, but Bistro is more upscale. It is also NOT ON THE dining plan.Neither place has great views of Illuminations. You would need a window seat( not guaranteed) and even then you have lots of trees and a sidewalk full of people in between you and the lagoon. You can see SOME of Illuminations from the window seats, but not anywhere near enough of it.

I agree with the above.

Honestly, I would advise not choosing a restaurant with the hopes of viewing IllumiNations from your table if it's your only chance that trip to watch it unless watching it is not at all important. Otherwise, chances are fair to very good that you'll be disappointed.

I picked Bistro because I like the overall experience better.

But if I were part of a family with kids, I'd pick Les Chefs. It's more casual and family-friendly in that restaurant. As others have said, Bistro is geared to be more upscale. They don't have a children's menu, but they've been able to accommodate kids with the Les Chefs kids' menu.
