Has anyone ever had the vegetarian Lasagna? I was thinking about getting this since sooo many of the other items seem to involve cheese and my tummy doesn't do too well with most cheeses :guilty:

Any suggestions as to what is good for lunch there? Thanks!

Have you put on your ADR that you "can't have cheese" or just put lactose? It may help the Chef where ever you eat do better with making you something or giving you a dish with no cheese. I like you do not do well with most cheeses so on all my ADR's I put that I cannot have any cheese. Ate at Chefs for dinner, and got the french onion soup minus cheese and pasta and veggies with some olive oil in place of something off the menu. Chef was very nice and even came back to my table asking if I was enjoying the meal.

I like the veggie lasagna, I'm not either vegetarian or sensitive to cheese but it's still good.

I also have had the Basque-style crepe stuffed with chicken and onions, and enjoyed that as well.

My friend and frequent travelmate habitually orders the rotisserie chicken plate, and it looks good but I don't order it because I cook that same stuff often enough at home.

Another vote for the chicken crepe! It is just wonderful! It also comes with a small salad.

Unless it's vegan lasagna, every veggie lasagna I've had has lots of cheese, and often several kinds. That's the easiest way to add flavor and body to a veggie lasagna.

I've not had the lasagna, but if you don't like cheese (or can't eat cheese), then I'd stay away from from the prix fixe meal options. I had the hamd and cheese sandwhich last time and that did in my tummy for a while as well.

If you are interested in a non-vegetarian option, I have had the Plat de Cote de boeuf au cabernet avec pates (braised short ribs) and really liked those.

If you're lactose-intolerant have you tried the Lactaid pills? They really worked for DS. He now restricts his milk intake but finds that he can have some cheese.

I agree that the French onion soup, loaded with slices of onion and chunks of bread, would be great even with less cheese. Too much onion usually affects me but not this soup. I had the macaroni and cheese off the prix fixe menu along with the creme brulee.

The service was wonderful and i'm sure they will work with you.

They've got a great mahimahi sandwich. Superb bread, good fish and a huuuuuuuuge serving of french fries. The 'real' french fries at that. ("real as in what we call french fries in my neck of the woods; fries that are very thin, so very different than what is called french fries in the US)

LOVED it!

Thank you all for your great suggestions...I wasn't really thinking about the lasagna being loaded with cheese, good point! What is strange is that I seem to be able to better tolerate some types over others:confused3 And if its melted it seems much worse.

I guess I never really thought to put something down on my adr, I'll probably do this to be safe. Thanks again!!!
