After 2 disappointing meals in the past year we got some last minute ressies at Chefs for the 4th of July and I am so happy we gave it another shot. It had been a favorite for years but went off kilter for a while. Last night was amazing.
There was me, DH and DS 6 the infant doesnt count
My son had the chicken and pasta nothing special but declared it good and ate all the chicken and half the pasta.
My husband and I both ordered the prefix meal. We shared the lobster bisque which was wonderfully creamy with lots of shreded lobster meat in it. By far the best soup I have ever had in Disney. I had the blue cheese salad until my 6 year old snagged it half way through. It was crispy with a great flavor. The bacon and walnuts gave it that extra flavor to make it special. I ordered the chicken for the first time (usually I get the beef dish). The chicken was soooo good and the sauce was delish creamy with a hint of white wine. The potatoes were also a star of this dish. There were sweet potatoes, purplish potatoes and white. I dont know if they were roasted or fried then roasted by OMG is all I can say. I want the recipe for them. My husband had the salmon and it was also very tasty. Moist and cooked perfectly. His spinich was really good too. It had a lemon butter flavor that made it another thing we were fighting over. They now serve every table 3 small bagettes in a little bag. Much better than the one roll you used to get. Dessert was Creme Brulee for both if us and it was perfect as usual. So we will be going back. I am so happy things have gotten back to normal at this place. We love it there!
