Please tell me about your experiences at Chefs de France, good or bad, likes, favorite plates, service, would you go again? I am on the line on this one, please help me decide…..THANKS!

We loved it and are going back again this trip. I had the Mac n Cheese, Dh had the Duck. It was very very tasty

We went there last Dec on the DDP with a Candlelight package. We were seated by the window at our exact reserved time. I enjoyed it very much and will go back there again in a heartbeat, but the service is so slow so if you are in a hurry, forget it. Everyone enjoyed their meals, from the steaks to chicken, scallops. Everyone liked the French onion soup as an appetizer. On allears.net on the rate and review, the restaurant seems to get good reviews. I am sure that you will enjoy eating there.

We have gone 3 times for dinner in the past 2 years. We have always had great service and enjoyed our food. Now that being said, if you want a quiet place to eat...this place is not for you. It is very loud and the tables are very close together. That does not bother us, because we enjoy the hustle and bustle and the food and service is always great.

Last fall we had a wonderful meal there. It was my favorite of the trip. I recommend the Filet. My girlfriend couldent stop eating the gravy. If she could have licked the plate clean I think she would have!

We ate dinner there in April 08 and really enjoyed it. The food was delish and having a seat by the windows was a huge plus. The server was weird tho, he stood in a corner and just stared at me the entire time and barely came to our table for drink refills etc

Been 4 times and always like it - people sometime complain about the service, but I think they take the European approach that a meal should take some time to eat. It is a little crowded though.

Love it!! We go there for lunch every trip and get the "French Menu". I think it is $19.99 a person and includes: onion soup (YUM!!), grilled ham and cheese sandwich, salad and creme brulee (Delicious!!).

Chef de France is a must-do for us each trip! I tried escargot there for the first time and loved them. I've read plenty of bad review about this restaurant, but I've never had a bad experience there.

We ate there last August and loved it.NC State it is just the mac and cheese nothing else with it.If you are on ddp I hear they have the mac and cheese on the french menu so you could get an appetizer and a dessert.

I LOVED Chefs! The lasagna was scrumptious.

Nothing comes with the macaroni and cheese, because the bowl is humongous.

We always go there. We've had various appetizers, the mac and cheese, the French Menu, but my favorite was the braised beef short ribs. I was licking that plate dry.

Best french onion soup and creme brulee on property IMHO.

Okay, now I'm not even sure why I clicked on this thread. Chefs de France wasn't even on my list of restaurants I was considering for my trip with my DS16 in August. But now that I did, I think this sounds really, really good! We both love onion soup, grilled ham and cheese, and salad, and have been dying to try the creme brulee! So how can I fit this, along with Garden Grill and Le Cellier, into 1 full day at Epcot?!

was there for dinner the first time 4/8 i enjoyed it alot my fiancee and i were on the deluxe dinning plan so we got app entree and dessert. for app i had a flat bread that was really good. he had french onion soup also good. for enrtree i had chicken something and he had beef something they were sooooooo good for dessert we both had creme brulee yummmmy. we also got done just as fireworks were starting we were by the window so we had a awesome view. are waitress was very nice deffently going again next trip

I was considering Chef de France but then I heard that the restaurant wasn't very good for people with allergies.

My 5 yr old niece can't have any dairy. Has anyone eaten there with a similar allergy?

Whats that?? Come to my house for dinner!!! With my kids dragging in their friends every now and then, its NEVER quiet at our dinner table so that is NO problem!!!

My goodness with all of that food planned where oh where will you be putting the many varied drinks from around the world!!!!!
If you do happen to get this in 1 day PLEASE let me know how you liked them?? Creme brulee is my absolute fav dessert!!

I read that and thought to myself the samething, if someone asks me what I ate I WOULD say the beef or chicken something!!!!

We thought Chefs de France was okay (went for the 1st time over Spring Break) but it felt like a poorly themed diner.
The food was good (the duck was really good), the addition of Remy was awesome, but the service was, indeed, slow.
Also, the tables are very squished together so it doesn't really give the appearance of an elegant restaurant - it's more like a diner style.
For the money, we definitely liked other EPCOT restaurants much better (although seeing Remy was a treat!)
