Chef Mickey's

Breakfast - The character interaction was MUCH better at each of our breakfasts versus dinner.

The food is not very good at the dinner, to me the quality was similar to our local Golden Corral (decent buffet, but...)

So, if I am going to a place and paying for interaction, I want to pay less money and get better interaction and have decent food.

To me dinner is too expensive for the food and interaction.

We love both and do both every trip, but we have to agree, breakfast is better. It is just so darn good (and I never eat breakfast, but I do there!!!) When we went in November they had added french toast and it was wonderful!

My family and I have had dinner there a few times. We thought the food was good and the character interaction was great.

Dinner, it is always dinner on our first night in the world. Great way to start a trip.

Dinner!!!! IMHO dinner at CM's in the best meal on property.

We've done both breakfast and dinner and like them both very much.

BUT, when we told our boys (12 and 13) that we're going back to Disney this year they TOLD us that we needed to go back to Chef Mickey's. I asked them why, and they told me because of the make you own ice cream sundae bar. LOL :cool1:

We have done dinner and the character interaction was great, the food was terrible. Going to try breakfast there next month

For us the character interaction was great for both but I prefer breakfast cause the food is better. I really wasn't impressed with the food for dinner. If it wasn't for the characters I would of been disappointed.

We love both. It really depends on your schedule and what you want to eat. If I had to choose I go with dinner.

Breakfast!!! I think it is the best breakfast buffet!!! So many choices and the food is delicious!

Breakfast. We've done both and the food as well as the character interaction was far superior at breakfast than it was at dinner. At dinner it took FOREVER for a single character to come to the table. So not happy about that. And the food at best was mediocre. I was disappointed since we enjoy Chef Mickey's for breakfast so much. I was really disappointed at the experience for the almost $100 is cost me to do it.

We are trying breakfast this year. The kids loved seeing all of the characters but the food at the dinner was not that impressive.

We've done both breakfast and dinner several times. Our favorite is breakfast. The character interaction is the same at both meals, but the food is better at breakfast. Not to say the food at dinner was bad, it was just okay.

I think the breakfast is overrated. I can't justify paying that much for things I could order off of a menu for much less. Besides, the last thing I want to do is head into the parks completely stuffed! And isn't that the point of a buffet?!

I enjoyed the dinner! So many more choices and by dinnertime after spending all day in the parks, you're starving!! The food isn't that great but the character interaction is so much fun. GO FOR DINNER!

I think you'll be happy with your breakfast at CM. We've had both meals there and prefer breakfast. Like other posters have said, dinner is fine, however, my family just generally likes breakfast foods more. We rarely get to eat a full fledged breakfast in our day-to-day life anyway, so eating a big breakfast is a treat for us.
