Chef Mickey's to MK?

Hi, my DSs and I have PS for Chef Mickeys at 7:40 for breakfast. I'm hoping we'll be done early enough to make it when the gates open at MK. What is the easiest way to get to the MK from Chef Mickeys? Do you get back onto the monorail, or is it so close you just exit the resort and walk?

If you ride the monorail you will stop (at the Poly and GF and maybe the TTC?) on the way). I think the quickest, assuming everyone can walk or be pushed in strollers, etc. and can go at a good pace) would be to walk from the CR to the front gate. This is what I have read. We actually did the opposite (walked to CR and monorailed back - LOL!) but we weren't in a hurry. Supposedly it is 10 mins to walk and 20 to ride. Perhaps those with more experience will give you another answer!

I don't have any experience doing this, but everything I've read supports the info Selket gave you.

I've done both. Walking is faster and it helps you work off some of that great meal!

Walking is a lot faster. The monorail will make three stops before the MK. At that time of the morning people will be packing in so it will take longer.

There is a path with a sidewalk from the contemporary. The walk is probably at most 10 min.

Walk unless you are too stuffed. If so, take the monorail and sit back and relax.

It's a very nice walk!!! We do it all the time. And much faster than the monorail.

I've done both. Walking will only take about 8 minutes. The monorail will take 15-20 minutes because of all the stops on the way.
