Chef Mickey's - pictures with characters?

I have been to Chef Mickey's before, but it was on a family trip many years ago. This year, it will be just me and my fiance on our honeymoon trip. My question is, when characters come around to our table, will they have an assistant or photopass person with them that can take our picture with the characters together?

We ate at Crystal Palace on our last trip, and the characters had no assistant. I had to resort to interrupting the table next to us during dinner to ask them to take our picture. It was a nightmare!

I also hate having pictures of me with the character, then him with the character!

Thanks!

The last 2 times I have been, within the last year, there have been handlers. I do not think there was 1 per character, though. They did not shadow the characters, but did keep an eye on what was going on.

Both times we have been to chef mickey there hasn't been a cm with the character.

There has been one or two cms in the background managing the situation but not coming up to the table with the character.

Easiest solution is to take two pics - that is fine to do.

There weren't CMs with the characters when I was there but the one time we wanted a group shot, we asked our server to take a picture. And the folks next to us offered as well - of course, it depends who you sit near!

Echoing the no handler comment and I ate there last month. But just want to point out as two adults, be okay with the characters potentially not stopping. Being an adult, I'm okay with not meeting characters (I was honestly at Chef Mickey's to try the food :scared1:) but I was a little miffed that Mickey stopped at every single table except ours and another table of adults and instead just waved at us from 3 feet away. But our Mickey pretty much flew through the room and quickly landed in the servers station to hang out and chat with them while the rest of the characters finished. Maybe just an off Mickey day.

When our family ate there last month, there was no photopass person to ask to take pictures. There seemed to be a few character handlers floating close by though.

When it was just my husband and I at character meals on previous trips, we would just ask whoever was close to help out with picture taking - the CM, our server, or a nearby patron. If no one was available, the characters were more than happy to pose for two separate pictures!

Sounds good! I'm hoping there will be a handler or server nearby so I don't have to bother anyone during their breakfast!

If not, two pictures will do just fine! :goodvibes
