Of all the restaurants at WDW, these two seem to have the hardest time seating people close to their ADR times.
My understanding at both of these is that if you want to be seated close to your ADR time, you basically have to make your ADR for when the restaurant opens (for either breakfast or dinner). And the later in the meal service, the longer you'll have to wait past your ADR time, possibly 45 minutes to an hour.
On an upcoming trip, we have ADR's for both of these places 30 minutes past opening. Specifically, 5:30 pm at 'Ohana for dinner and 7:30 am for CM at breakfast. Anyone have any kind of ball park guess as to when we'll actually be seated if we show up 15 minutes prior to our ADRs?
I'm not a huge fan of the new credit card guarantee program, but hopefully one silver lining will be that WDW restaurants (particularly these two) will be able to seat people closer to their ADR times. Anyone notice any difference recently (or is it still too early to tell since many currernt ADRs were made prior to the change)?
