Chef Mickey's - make a ps right away

We really wanted to eat at Chef Mickeys last week. It was such fun 4 years ago.

I tried to get a PS a month ahead on two nights, and could only get late seatings. I figured, low season, I'll call when I'm there and try for whatever will work. No luck - they were booked. If you want to get in here, make a ps early! I can't imagine how hard it is to get in there during busy season.

Ironically I just called today for March 9th and I had my pick of times. I mean she literally rattled off close to 10 different times. I guess it's hit or miss w/ those PS's!!

I called on day 90 (we do Chef Mickey's on our first night) and got my choice of seating times. Thank goodness! My kids would be sorely disappointed if we couldn't get in there!

I too always call 90 days out for this PS. I've been burned before by waiting too late for ressies. I like the 5:00 seating best, which leaves the evening to do other things (if you can move).

I called tonight and all they had were seatings after 8 (for 3/12), but I wanted one at 8:30 so we could go right after the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom..

So if you want an earlier seating I would call right away... just my $.02

Just because I knew I wanted to eat at CM on our arrival day at 5pm, I called about 10 minutes ago and got the PS for May 14th. I really did not think anyone would have problems getting a PS there! I'm glad I called!
