Chef Mickey's - lunch during free dining???

Didn't they open up for lunch last year during free dining? Does anyone know if they are this year? Making ADRs on Wednesday and 'thought' I had it all figured out, but now playing around with schedule again and boy, a lunch would be so much better for me to fit in if they have one!

They are having lunch the week we are there. Our reservation is at 12:30 on August 18.

I couldn't get a lunch ADR for the first week. The CM did not believe me when I told her about the lunch bookings. (I read about them on the DIS while I was on hold)

She did check but told me I was wrong,.

I was trying to book the lunch for August 18. Oh well, I'll try again later this week.

Nice, i didn't know that! We are hopefully doing CM for breakfast & dinner during our stay i think lunch might over do it haha

I just tried to reserve lunch on 8/17 and was told that Chef Mickey's doesn't have lunch.

I read it yesterday on the Free dining ADR thread.

The poster was able to book a lunch ADR during the first week of free dining.

I had the same problem last year. It had been posted on WDW Info that they were serving lunch during free dining and some people here had reported that they had made reservations for lunch. I spoke with 3 different CMs and all three told me that Chef Mickey never serves lunch. When I had to change my ADR for Boma the day before I left for Orlando I asked again and that CM knew about it, but there were no ADRs available anymore.
