Chef Mickey's - Bfast or Dinner?

My DD & DS are desperate to eat here. Which is better? Bfast or dinner?

Is breakfast just standard fare that we could get elsewhere for less $$$?

I don't know what to book lol

We did both, and we liked them both, but we enjoyed breakfast more. Both meals had a good selection, and the food was hot and good both times we were there. We're going to do both again this year in November. We think the reason we had didn't enjoy dinner as much is because that was the night Hurricane Jeanne was coming through, and we were hurrying to get back to our resort before the busses stopped running.

If I had to pick only one, I'd choose breakfast, but I love breakfast foods.

We prefer to make our big meals dinner. We have had dinner there twice and the place was always hoppin at those times. They have the best Chicken Corn Chowder there too!

My DH, DD(3) and myself had breakfast here and loved it. The energy in the restaurant is quite magical and the buffet is nice. I think your kids would really enjoy this. I know we certainly did. Have a great vacation!!!

We had breakfast there and while it was good, it wasn't anything special. Next month we'll be trying dinner (good character interaction & service) on arrival night. I hear dinner is a bit better a lot.

We always do dinner. We love it. Never tried the breakfast though.

We have eaten both breakfast and dinner at Chef Mickeys.

I enjoyed the breakfast more, but it was difficult to get everyone there for an early morning PS. What a great way to start the day if you're going to MK.

My family has always done dinner there and loved it. The food is great!! There is a big selection of items both for adults and children and great desserts as well!!! We are chef mickey freaks !!! We have to eat there everytime we go !! One year we could not get any PS's as they were booked (and believe me we tried everything except just showing up, did not want to get the kids hopes up!)...man that was a major let down...so sad not to get our chef mickey fix!!! My husband and three girls are not big fans of breakfast foods so we have never tried the breakfast.

We've done both breakfast and dinner and my older boys (16 and 9) enjoy breakfast better! But really, it doesn't matter...it's always a fun place to eat!

last trip, but we have heard that dinner is great. We plan on doing dinner this year. It's hard to eat a buffet in the morning if you plan on doing the parks right away. We were stuffed and it made the afternoon a little unpleasant.

Getting everyone up in time is one of my worries too! Don't they realise we have places to go, people to meet, things to do?!!

Thank you so much for your replies I think I'll book the dinner as I don't really like to have much to eat in the mornings if we're off to a park straight after - the thought of breakfast and Space Mountain!

We have done both. We REALLY enoyed the breakfast and have done it several times. We tried dinner once, but won't hurry back. The quality of the food was just OK.

This Aug DS13 & I will be going for breakfast and then stay for their pool (DVCers)
We're going on a non-park day

Dinner is GREAT at CMs. I'm sure breakfast would be good too. (only did dinner)
