We have a ADR at Chef Mickeys at 10:20am. We are planning on just driving over there and spending the day over there walking around and maybe taking the monorail to some of the other resorts to look around (we are staying onsite in a moderate hotel). Can we just valet park the car there for the day or is there a time limit?

I don't believe there is a limit - however it is "frowned" upon to park at the resort and visit the park.

I am pretty sure that if if is not the hotel that you are staying in you will be given a parking pass with a time limit.
What you could do is park in the MK parking lot(free since you are on site) and get on the monorail from there. Or you could take the bus from your resort to the MK.

Hi! THanks for the advice. I guess my title was wrong though as we are not going to the parks, but going to what I consider to be MK resorts that day (GF, Poly, and CR). Just want to bum around them for the day as a down day after we have our character breakfast.

Then I would do just as the PP suggested. Park at the TTC & take the monorail around to the Contemporary on the resort loop.

Or you can take the express to the MK, get off & walk to the CR.

Then when you are done you can go to the resorts & look around.

Well, on the last day of my trip in October, we did the Magic Kingdom resort hopping by taking the bus to the Magic Kingdom, then taking the resort monorail all the way around. If you wait for a bus at 9am at your resort, you should have plenty of time to get to the Contemporary to walk around and keep your ADR. If for some reason you're cutting the time close, you can also walk around afterwards.

After you monorail around the resorts, you can either go back to the Magic Kingdom to get back to your resort, or perhaps take the bus from the Grand Floridian to Downtown Disney if you weren't interested in the parks.
