Chef Mickeys and Ribs

I've heard that Chef Mickey's has ribs one night during the week - does it replace the prime rib??

Hi,

We were at Chef mickeys' this past May on a Saturday night and our server told us that the Bar BQ ribs are only available on Saturday night. Not too sure if this has changed now or not. If I recall correctly, prime rib was also available at the cutting station, the ribs were available in the hot food section on large serving dishes.

Just as a side note, we arrived at Chef mickeys at 5:00 without a PS and were seated in under 5 minutes. This was after I had tried for weeks trying to get one without success. I was told this is a common occurence since people overbook their PS's and then do not call and cancell the restaurant they decide not to go to. Ended up going to Chef Mickeys later on the week we were there and did the same thing, arrived at 5:00 and were seated in about 5 minutes, again after being told there were no PS's available.

Hope this is helpful, oh yeah...the ribs were very good and I am a Bar BQ nut. In fact we are planning another trip May 2003 and I made it a point to be sure we are staying over one Saturday so we can go to Chef Mickeys for the ribs.

Glad to hear about the BBQ ribs--my DS loves them and will be happy to know they're on the buffet (we'll be there on a Sat. night)!
