Chef Mickey open for Lunch

During the free dining Chef Mickey is open for lunch. I was able to call today and select either Saturday or Sunday in September. When I called and said chef mickey the CM asked breakfast or dinner, I asked is lunch was available and they said yes. Let me know if any of you have the same luck

Yep, they started taking lunch ADR's earlier this week. We ate there last Sept for lunch and will be there again this Sept for lunch

ok, I just hung up and was told sorry...Chef Mickeys doesnt do

I called the day they opened the reservations last week and the CM told me they didn't do lunch. I explained to her that they did this last year and that they were doing it again this year during free dining. I asked her to check again. She apologized and said they did indeed have lunch and booked me for 2:20 on 9/9 . On the bright side, since the CMs are telling everyone they don't exist, there should be a bunch of timeslots open!

Anyone know if the menu is the same as dinner?

I just called Disney and cancelled my breakfast on Aug 28th and changed it to Lunch the same day. The CM checked for me and yes there are characters for Lunch.

The Menu is sort of a bar-b-q theme that's what I was told by WDW, salads, ribs, mojo chicken(Latino citrus sauce light and flavorful) and pastas, But if you call they will tell you, can't recall everything, hope that this may help Kimmie

Others have said Mickey and all the regular characters are there for lunch.

I TELL YOU IT BETTER BE A CHARACTER LUNCH FOR 26.99 or something like that I have called on 2 diffrent occassions to WDW Dinning and was told that the Characters will be there!! I hope this helps Kimmie

Yep! Got Lunch with no problem there CM told me oh lunch is available I was like really she said yes then she was like hold on im getting conflicting info! Because they have a lil description that comes up when they pull it up for you and it states only breakfast and Dinner and lunch times were coming uup as being available and she put me on hold to check and she came back and said indeed they r open for lunch due to the popularity of the Free Dining Promo! So that could be y some of you are getting mixed answers from CM's! I would ask them to please check into a friend has a lunch ressie and got it due to the populare demand of free dining!

i remember they had pizza chicken nuggets, some fish dish, lots of pasta salads, mac and cheese, a chicken cacciatore type thing
they didnt do much dessert, just the make your own sundaes.
it was a year ago, so i cant remember everything, sorry. we were a bit dissapointed, but none of us left hungry. theres no menu, so really they could have anything.

Since they opened up lunch hours for Chef Mickey's during free dining, did they extend the dinner hours also? I got a 5:00 ADR but would like to have 4:00-4:30 because we're going to MNSSHP afterwards. Has anyone gotten any dinner at Chef Mickey's earlier than 5:00?
