It is my understanding that the characters are the same. We had dinner and saw Mickey Minne, Goofy Donald and Pluto.

We thought food was horrible though. Basically inedible. Meats dry and leathery, sauces congealed or so spiced as to be unpalatable. Soups were lumpy. Meats in sauces were very fatty. Vegetables and Fruits in salad bar were not fresh. And other dishes were just plain unrecognizable.

Agreed. We love the breakfast food here but the food at lunch/dinner is usually terrible. However, the atmosphere and the characters are awesome at every meal!

yup the character's are the same we had breakfest and dinner there
the dinner was way better and we got the one of the latest reservations so the character's got to hand out with us longer and end up getting a group shot with them

Here's another vote for dinner. We thought the food was very good. Not like the PP that said dried meat and congealed sauces (maybe you were there on a bad night?). Everything was always hot and fresh, and we've been to dinner there several times. In fact, this is one of our must dos.

A little girl was having a birthday at the table across from us. When they brought out the cake to sing Happy Birthday, all the characters stood around the table clapping and dancing. The little girl had a smile that was so big, you could tell she loved every minute of it.

this is my son's first trip
and is the first time i have done the dining plan
i went to disney from the age of 1 to 14 then on and off till now
we are going from nov 28 - dec 2
there are 7 adults and 1 child going
we are staying at the Contemporary

My family and I have been there a few times for dinner and found nothing wrong with their food.

The same characters as the pp posted were there for us. The food was fine but our favorite was the dessert bar! My DS (8mos) loved the mashed potatoes! Hmmmmmm. Our server was the best of any we'd had. The bad thing was most of the characters were in a big hurry! Minnie almost knocked my dd over trying to reach her book in a hurry. My dd was reaching for it to get it for her but guess she didn't want to wait on her. I thought it was rude but I could have misread! She hurried past our table as did all the others in a hurry but not as much as Minnie.....this was our first time and all our pics have a nice shot of the bathroom door! It was still fun......
