Cheesesteak in the world???

A couple of years ago, Cosmic Ray's in MK stopped serving their cheesesteak, which was my favorite counter service food ever. Is there anywhere to find it now? I'm going to all four parks on my trip, and my trip's just not been the same since my cheesesteak went away... :(

Any help? Thanks!

I never had Cosmic Ray's cheesesteak, so I don't know how it compares, but Beaches 'n' Cream has a steak and cheese sandwich. It's a pretty good steak & cheese sandwich, but I don't think it's considered a 'cheesesteak'.

The plaza restaurant on Main street at Magic Kingdom has cheesesteak sandwiches and Port Orleans Riverside food court does. I do miss the cheesesteaks at Cosmic Rays. Hope they bring them back.

I am not sure, and you might be able to check allearsnet for the menu, but I seem to think they made them to order at one of the All*Stars or Pop food courts... :confused3

I miss those cheesesteaks too! I could always count on Cosmic Rays to have something for everyone and that was MY choice. PLUS all the mushrooms you wanted! Last summer or maybe it was in December there was kiosk at MGM that had them but when we were there last week it wasnt open.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who misses them! I'll check allears' menus--thanks for the suggestions. I think we should write to WDW and tell them to bring it back!!!

Thanks again!

I've had the cheese steak sandwich at Beaches and cream and I have to tell you it was one of the best meals I've had while visiting the world.. I just usually hop over there on the days we are visiting Epcot for lunch... just a hop skip and a jump from the international gateway. :cool1:

IMO the Philly Cheesesteak at the Official All Star Cafe at WWoS is outstanding! Plus you can play NTN trivia while you dine. :goodvibes

I read somewhere that they have it at a place in MGM called the Dip Site. It's only open seasonally.

just out of curiousity, what is on the Philly Cheesesteak at the Official All Star Cafe at WWoS? the only thing that makes a philly cheesteak a philly cheesesteak is an Amoroso Roll, the steak, whiz and maybe fried onions.. maybe not. either a whizwit or whizwitout. and probably the grease... but its only THAT greasy if you get it at Pats. Genos seem to be a more napkin friendly! maybe im a lil biased... ( once i got a philly cheesesteak and it had mozz and fried peppers on it!!!) but i'd be willing to try!! and ooooh! i LOVE playing trivia!

I'd love to know also! So Mulan, does that mean you officially in the "Geno's"
camp? Personally I'm a Pat's kinda gal (it really is all in the grease Plus I LOVE their hot sauce :rotfl2: )

But we can all agree on Amoroso Rolls!!

Cheers!

Cheesesteaks in Disney - that's just wrong!

I have not been able to bring myself to order a cheesesteak anywhere since relocating from PA in 2003! But they are the first stop I make on my way from the airport!

Amoroso's rolls do rule - must be the water from the Schuylkill (wow I can still spell it...) that makes the rolls so good!

I'm a Pudge's (East Norriton/Jeffersonville) cheesesteak girl.

I had one at the Plaza at MK and it was great! This was just this past Nov as well.

Not sure if you had the old one or the new one. They recently changed their steak and cheese sandwich and it is not as good as it once was. It's on a soft roll now and cooked with red peppers. I like the original one and have told them how much I miss it on our recent visits.

The All Star Cafe (WWS) has a good one too.
