Cheesehead guy @ 11/28 MVMCP!!!

That was me! It turned out to be one of the most fun nights ever at MK. We had our picture taken with cast members and other guests. We took our cheesehead and decorated with x-mas box garland from walgreens and mini x-mas hats from the christmas shop in downtown disney. We then mounted a stich in a holiday santa suit on the front. A lot of people gave me strange looks and others stopped and asked where we bought it. To tell you the truth, my DD who is 13 decorated the hat for me!! The night was topped off during the mvmcp parade. I would say around 10 performers from the parade broke from there parade routine and either high fived me or yelled "great hat". Stich on the last float with santa pointed to me and the hat and gave a thumbs up. A memorable night for our family. Hope somebody saw me!! :thewave:

I'll have my DD try to put the picture up. We've never tried to post a picture so it may take awhile. TLS4mickey, our family had a lot of fun with the hat. Did I look silly? To me it doesn't matter, It's not like I'll see the people down in WDW again. Act like a kid while you can!! HO,HO,HO......

No one ever worries that a cheesehead looks silly - always wear it with pride!! At least you're not on national television half-naked in 20 degree weather at a Packer game.

Did have a quick question too - was MVMCP sold out on the 28th? We're thinking of going the weekend after Thanksgiving next year.

We were at MVMCP on the 28th, but missed "The Cheesehead"! I don't think it was sold out- we were able to buy 2 more tickets a couple of days before at DTD. It was our first MVMCP, and at first thought it was crowded (got there at 6:45), but once we got towards Frontierland it got better. Never did get our photo done , we tried twice, but the lines there were too long. We found the cookies and cocoa by accident, and enjoyed our little surprise. Our group wasn't interested in shows, just getting on rides without waiting in lines!

Thats SO AWESOME!!! Im also a Packer fan, live in the Fox Cities area, im glad u had such a great time!! Where are u from in WI?

Yep, I wore the hat on Monday at epcot and then headed over to espn club to watch the monday night football GB vs. st louis. I live right outside of Madison about 10 miles or so the east. In epcot a woman approached me and said she was from Germany and had too have her picture taken with me and the hat. It was fun. I tried giving my DD credit whenever someone asked where we bought the cheesehead made like that. Thanks for all the replys!! You always wonder how many DIS'ers are at these events.

Brent, sorry we missed you. I would have remembered. I was surprised how few people were wearing hats. We wore Santa hats and my ILs wore their 50th wedding anniv. Ears. They got a lot of attention and congratulations from people. We had a great time.
