my daughter has a friend coming down for them march 21st as well.

The one on the 21st is a smaller competition. Less teams, less people. ("Nationals" for cheerleading is a misleading term...there are many, many national competition...)

High school comp was in february, college was in january. UCA all-stars (big big comp) is mar 10-13, americheer (smaller) is the weekend of the 21st. And then there will be the Cheerleading World's April 22-23 (hosted at Disney's "milk house"), and they are the "best of the best" so there are less teams, less people.

I think that's it for Disney comps.

Actually there are even more Cheerleading Nationals in or around Disney these days. Amylevan listed the ones with the most attendees, but here are the competitions for the rest of the season:

1. Feb.24th- Feb. 26th - Contest of Champions has their Nationals at Disney this weekend...very small group.
2. Mar. 3rd- Mar. 5th - This one is run by Spirit Cheer, and is at the WDW Swan and Dolphin...small group.
3. Mar. 10 - Mar. 12 - UCA All Star Nationals at MGM and WWoS...very, very large group.
4. Mar. 10 - Mar. 12 - JamFest Nationals, held outside the parks...medium sized group.
5. Mar. 10 - Mar. 12 - NDA Dance Nationals at the Hard Rock Live...medium sized group.
6. Mar. 16 - Mar. 18 - Americheer Nationals held at WWoS...medium sized group.
7. Mar. 24 - Mar. 26 - The American Championships Nationals held outside the parks...large group.
8. Mar. 24 - Mar. 26 - US Spirit Nationals held at IOA...very small group.
9. Apr. 14 - Apr. 16 - COA Nationals held outside the parks...medium sized group.
10. Apr. 22 - Apr. 23 - Worlds Championships held at WWoS...small group.

Basically, there will be cheerleaders at Disney from now until May. Even when a competition is not held at the parks, expect them to be there when not competing. Have a good trip!
