I am taking my 3 year-old to WDW for Halloween...can anyone confirm whether or not Cheerios are sold on the property? I have heard that they are not, though I cannot imagine a place designed for kids that wouldn't sell them at least for breakfast! My little girl is a seriously picky eater & Cheerios are our "old-reliable" staple. I just need to know if I have to plan to get some another way. Thanks so much!!

I can't fconfirm or deny whether Cheerios are sold in the in-resort shops or restaurants. But what we always do is pack a small plastic container of Cheerios and Cheez-its for our DD, along with some snack-size ziplocks. That way we have snacks we know she likes, and by packing them in plastic, they don't turn into crumbs on the plane.

Mur!

I believe the Beach Club Marketplace had the plastic single-serve Cheerios as one of the cereal types, but I'm not 100% sure.

I have no idea. I do know that they had Cheerios or a knock off of it in the Concierge lounge at the Poly. Sorry. I buy our travel Cheerios at BRU b/c they are larger than the snack size you can pruchase at the grocery store.

I've heard from several moms and CMs that there are NO CHERRIOS on WDW property. I was told to pack my own. (packing tip, remove from box and put in double zip-lock bag for easy packing.

The only cereal I recall were all Kellogg's brand, so probably not

Never saw a Cherrios box/bowl etc while there. DH works for General Mills so he was a little bummed that that Big Mouse was not a fan of Cheerios. :earseek:

what they have is a knock-off of cheerios - no real cheerios around.

I don't know if you can buy them but we got a single serve bowl of cheerios at O'Hana Breakfast last Saturday 10/8/05. My 10yo dd had an upset stomach and the waitress overheard her say she would really love just a bowl of cheerios. I told her that is fine, nibble on the bread and I will get you one from the food court after the character breakfast. Low and behold the waitress brought her a single serve bowl of cheerios, a banana and some milk - just what she wanted/needed that am! So $18.00 for cereal, yikes, meeting stitch and getting the breakfast dd really needed instead of bacon and eggs - priceless!

If I had a toddler/baby I would make arrangements for grocery delivery, or do a grocery run. We have done both, last trip we used ME and wegoshop, wegoshop was excellent and ME was average. Generally we use a towncar with a free grocery stop and I will most likely do that again in the future.
