Does anyone know what other resort besides CSR the cheer and dance groups are staying at in May?

Looks like I'll be at Disney with a bunch of cheerleaders! That's fine; I've been there with the cheerleaders before and they've always been well-behaved and polite, and it's nice to see young people having fun. And I'm not staying at any of their resorts; that might have been a little too much "seeing them have fun!"

According to the dates on the flyers we timed our vacation perfectly. We arrive at Pop 3 May and depart 11 May. I could not be happier!

Great timing.

You will still see them on the 3rd as they are getting ready to leave and some of them will stay for a few days after that so you won't miss them completely,but will for the most part.

This week they have the dance competitions and next weekend is the high school cheer. The weekend after is college cheer competition. Everything is practically sold out with these going ons.

Saw quite a few Cheer-types at the Swan on Saturday (4/17).

I switched my stay from Coronado to Old Key West once I learned about the groups. Luckily, resort availability was still great when I booked.

Was well worth the extra couple-hundred bucks.

We just got back from a stay at Pop. Our last day we were talking with one of the bus transportation cast workers and he told us that starting end of this week (April 30th) that cheer groups have booked 2,200 out of the 2,800 rooms at Pop. Obviously have no way to verify this as fact but if heading to Pop soon, might be prepared for a resort with lots of cheerleaders.
