Well it's Thursday. Another day closer to the weekend.

I'm off to buy a new Washing Machine today. The other one just quit on me. I so hope I won't have to wait too long for the new one to be delivered. Not that I love doing laundry or anything, but I do do it everyday of my life.

Well, I have good luck when it comes to Bunco but I've been to Vegas and it isn't pretty. Nothing worse than me scrambling to the ATM just so I can play my favorite slot machine a little longer.

I have SuperChick's "One Girl Revolution" going through my head. Last night my son found a video on YouTube of a bunch of Hermione scenes ("Harry Potter" films) set to that song.

Oh she's very cute. Way, way, way, way too young for me. He was looking for alternate movie trailers for "Order of the Phoenix" and found it. SuperChick is a really good, Christian band - that song was also in "Legally Blond" playing during the end credits.

I came to the realization a few years ago that most of the 'cool' Hollywood scene is much closer in age to my children (12 & 8) than to me (37).

Oh, isn't that the truth. I remember when my celebrity crushes were way too old for me and now. . EEK! But Orlando Bloom is only about 5 years younger than me so it's still possible. . .

We've got family happenings (in-laws). This weekend is KAMommy's paternal side of the family's Homecoming - which is a combination grave-decoration & family reunion - common among Southern families. Her dad was one of 16 kids, 14 lived to adulthood (12 still alive). Her grandmother (mamaw) is still alive - 85 years old - and the family reunion is at mamaw's house. My father-in-law was part of the middle brood. The older kids are now starting to have great-grandchildren, so now there are starting to be great-great-grandchildren (our kids are great-grandchildren). I think there will be close to 300 people there on Sunday. KAMommy and her mom will be going to mamaw's tomorrow to clean, probably an all-day deal. I've been volunteered to help my father-in-law with mowing hay. We will get a half side of beef out of the deal so I'm not complaining. Pop-in-law has about 50 head of cattle and he'll be slaughtering one in a couple of weeks. It will not be a technologically-advanced weekend for me.
