Good Morning People.

I went to the Casino yesterday with my sister-in-law. They are in visiting from Colorado. Sadly I did not win. :guilty: We had a great day and you must look at it as purely entertainment.

I got a new washing machine saturday. Today I play catch up and will be doing this :laundy: most of the day today.

Have a good one. :teeth:

Good Morning!

Yeah! :yay: It's Monday! Yeah!:yay:

Ok, I'm just trying to make myself feel better about being at work. I'm really not that excited. :sad2:

Tricia!!! OOOhh, a new washing machine??? You know how I absolutely LOVE to do laundry!!! Do you need any help???

I'm home early this afternoon.... I had to meet the HVAC guy. My Central A/C decided to leak on one of the hottest day of the year so far. The condensor pan is cracked (we figured that this was what was leaking onto the Mother board last December when we woke up to no heat one weekend morning and cost me $500). So needless to say, it couldn't be something simple like a clog, no it had to be a cracked condensor pan. So Scott ordered one and it should be in tomorrow. He'll come back either tomorrow or Wednesday.... yep, another 1/2 day off.

I want to get this repaired before we really need the A/C on, usually not until July. I know lucky me! I actually only turn the Central A/C on around July 4th and turn it off in the middle of August.

Hi everyone! Well, Jordan graduate from 6th grade tonight :sad1: . My baby is growing up.

Hope everyone's having a great Monday. :)

Hi Susan. Did talking yourself into enjoying Monday do the trick for you. It's a rainy gloomy day over here.

I'm finally caught up from the few days it was broken. My laundry baskets are empty and that makes me very happy.

Good Morning.

Nice to see you again Hazzi.

Michelle I'm so glad you checked in. I've been thinking about you and your dad. Sending good thoughts his way for a successful surgery.

Afternoon everyone. Jordan's graduation went great. I started crying :sad1: . I think reality hit me that he's no longer a baby. He received his diploma stating he is promoted to 7th grade. :yay: I hope that means I did something right, and the other two have a chance. :rotfl:

Morning Chicks and Rooster.

DMM, I hope everything goes well, we've been missing you.

Wendy, congrats on Jordan's graduation! :yay:

Tricia, hi!

GD, I had a little bit of everything at the Thai restaurant on Friday. We ordered a bunch of different things. I liked most of it.

Fab, Jeanny, Chris, Joanne, everyone else that I'm forgetting, COME BACK!

You know when I said I was sore Sunday night? There were two reasons for that. And those reasons were... Kidney. Stones. I woke up Monday morning about 2:00 with some back pain. I rolled around in bed for a couple of hours trying to find a semi-comfortable position. I gave that up, grabbed our heating pad, sat down on the living room couch and read until the rest of the family got up.

The pain wasn't ALL that bad at first. It was enough to keep me awake, but I was moving around OK. My thought was that I'd go in to work, stay through our 9:00 staff meeting, and then call our doctor for an appointment. My brother has had MANY kidney stones (he's 27 now, his first was when he was 21) so I sorta figured that's what this was. That macho plan of going into work died a flaming death pretty quickly - by 7:00 I was doubled-over in pain and nauseated. After we dropped off our daughter at day-care, KAMommy drove me to the ER.

We were checked in, CT-scanned, and pain meds administered by 8:30. Two stones - one between 4 and 5mm and the other between 2 and 3mm. I could have probably passed the smaller one normally, but the bigger one got stuck and was causing all the pain. I had an appointment with a urologist yesterday afternoon, who scheduled me for a lithotripsy for this morning. I wasn't in bad pain yesterday afternoon, night, or this morning - the big stone had shifted enough to let fluids go by. When it shifted the pain was gone, like somebody flipped a switch.

So this morning was the lithotripsy - which is basically blasting the stones with sound waves until they break up. Now I feel like I've been rabbit-punched in the left kidney, but other than that (and a slight headache) I'm OK. I've got good drugs and they're starting to kick in.

:lmao: I swear I'm not laughing at you. I'm laughing with you.:rotfl2: Those little suckers hurt. I would rather have my toenails ripped off than have one of those things again. Before I passed one, I was on the ground praying that the man upstairs would release me from the bottom half of my body.:rotfl: At least with labor and a c-section I got a baby out of the deal instead of a popcorn kernel in a cup.

Seriously GD, I hope you feel much better SOON! :grouphug:

Oh no GD! How awful! Glad you are a bit better, and aren't drugs great! ;)

I have a kidney stone story- well it was embarassing for me and painful for my dad. A few years back my dad had a kidney stone and having no experience with them, it was pretty major trauma until we knew what was wrong with him. They sent him home and told him to get a urine filter to catch the stone so they could do whatever they do to it. Well, he sent me out looking for the filter. :sad2: I had to go to 3 different pharmacys and ask for a urine filter before I found one. The first 2 didn't know what I was talking about so I had to describe it. I was so humiliated.

Morning, i'm about to start getting ready to leave for the bypass surgery, just wanted to check in and say thanks for thinking of us today!

Good Morning Sunshines.

Michelle I'm praying for your dad today. I hope all goes well.

Goofydad I'm glad it's over and you're on the mend now. My DH had that once and I saw first hand how much pain he was in.

It's Hump Day once again. Time is flying now that the kids are home for summer.

Good Morning! Hope all goes well Michelle, I'm saying a prayer.

It's a stunning day today! I can't believe I'm stuck inside at work. It was like a postcard driving to work. The ocean was a deep blue, no clouds in the sky and just a slight breeze.

Go ahead Susan rub it in. It's hot and humid over here. :guilty:

Sorry but these days are rare in June. We don't call it the June Gloom for nothing. I'll be whining about the heat come Sept/Oct. Those are the hottest months around here. ::yes::
