So, yesterday was all about pirates and I have to say that I loved the movie. There were a couple of things that could have easily been left out. . . like Calypso. Didn't get it. All in all, though it was better than the 2nd, but not quite as good as the 3rd. And um. . . Orlando. . . HOT! Especially at the end!

Today, I vow not to leave the property and as it's 1:30 already, I think I might succeed. I was just at my folks house (still on property remember) and they are still in their pajamas. I made fun of them until my mom pointed out that my plaid pants and Chewbacca shirt didn't quite equal presentable clothes either. I just like to be comfy at home. KWIM?? Besides, there is nothing wrong with a Wookie on your shirt.

Back to work tomorrow maybe~I have to wait for the HVAC guys to call at 7 a.m. tomorrow to see when they can come out to look at my A/C unit. It backed up Saturday morning and ruined my rug down in the basement. Oh, the joys of hot days! So for the rest of the weekend, we've had the windows wide open and the fans going at night. Thank goodness it hasn't been as hot as Friday was (over 90!!) and there is a nice breeze.

If I leave my deck sliders open and my front windows, there is a great cross-breeze... the only draw back is we can smell Pepe LePhew when he starts digging around.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day. We took the kids to see Shrek. It was playing in four different rooms within the one theater . You could pick a time every thirty minutes. I liked the movie, it was really cute. I still think I like the first one best.


Lori it looks like you and Will are having fun. Pretty skies so the weather must be good. I didn't see anyone wearing coats so I'm guessing packing those mittens was a waste. I can't wait to see more pictures.

Good Morning! or is it goodnight? I just got home from working night shift. I'll tell you one thing, that's for the birds. I've been up for 26 hours and have to stay up all day so I can sleep tonight to go to work in the morning. No wonder I sleep 13 hours sometimes.

He had a little stuffed one but I didn't win it. But all is well as I am terrified of ducks. Basically, if they had brought a real duck, I would have spent the duration of the presentation barricaded in the bathroom. I spent a good chunk of time in my aunt's pantry when their cat brought in a living bird.
