Patriot's Day holiday for us today

Dreary, drenched and wind gusts up to 63 mph up here in Massachusetts~~~ The Boston Marathon starts in two hours and the Red Sox are playing at 10:00 a.m. (I'll be watching on TV!!)

Gotta love this weather! At least it's not that 4-letter word (s-n-o-w).

Today will be a good day for us! We're calling DVC later today to purchase add-on points for Animal Kingdom Villas. I need to take a business trip this afternoon so KAMommy will be doing that! We're quite excited!

Michelle how many years in advance to you plan out all of your trips?

About 1 yr usually. (as we drive home from the airport or THE VERY NEXT DAy depending on when we fly in) We book right away and then we have the entire year to pay it off in chunks.

Usually as it starts getting close to vacation we start thinking about where we want to stay and when we want to go, so we know what to book afterwards

However with Mexico next year, we knew it had to be a shorter WDW trip since we were already payign big money on hotels and mainly flights to MExico.

THEN since our 5 year anniversary is in 2009, we knew we wanted to have a VR, so that automatically planned that out and since we Cruised the DCL for our honeymoon, we wanted to do that again for our VR with the kids...soooo we planned that out too! hahah!!

AND since Chirstmas in the WORLD for this year got cancelled since i got pregnant, we most likely will do Christmas in 2010


That's all the thinking we've done though!

morning everyone! Just wanted to let you all know i will be in and out today, since ih ave to pack the kids and DH & I a small bag. I will be leaving tomorrow afternoon and be back some time Thursday early evening. My father is going in for heart surgery on wed. so if you can all keep him in your thoughts and prayers thanks! DH took the day off wednesday too, so that i don't get too stressed thinking about my dad AND watching the kids!

Congrats on the DVC additions GD! I would love to do that but I just can't afford it right now. Someday, I'll be asking you a ton of questions.

Chris, I have those exact Mickey Crocs. I haven't worn them in public though, I just don't have the courage.

I just adopt the attitude of "I just got back from vacation and am still wearing these". It helps if you have a tan. =)

Re buckets- that was just a fantasy. My basement ended up under 2 inches of water and I suspect my flooded filing cabinet included things like my marriage license.

But I'm here and not in the basement with the new sump pump - so can you say denial???

I knew you could.

I've been busy all morning - and haven't listened to the news. Do we have any idea of WHY??
