Hey Hazzi... how are you and yeah, where have you been?? Is school break over now?

Hey Fab! probably Chili's or the 99 for dinner. I'd like to go to Chili's, but Jacqui and JD may want 99, which is fine with me too. I love their sirloin tips!

I can actually get out of work early today. The baseball team comes in for practice at 5 pm, so I don't have to lock that gym up, I just have to get the kids out of the Fitness Center.... one more set, one more set (after I've already given them a 10 minute warning)... usually I'm out of there by 5:15!

Thanks Chris. We went to Durango, CO. My DH has a brother that lives there. The skiing to those in the know was probably good. I on the other hand had a slight problem with stopping.

The snow here was not bad -at least I could shovel it - unlike the icestorm last week. Got a ticket for not shoveling that week.

Jeanny - I like TGIF's a bit better than 99's, so good choice!

Hazzi - I don't know what that emoticon means. And I had a harder time in London than I did in Paris. Why don't they speak English??? No, really, the cadence and accent of Londoners is hard for me to understand. DH thinks I'm crazy.

I used the tube maybe twice and DH had the map. We did okay - oh, but nevermind, a friend of ours who LIVED in London gave us the wrong stop for a museum and we hoofed it like 2 miles to get there. So nevermind, it was rough. I took cabs.

Oh and this whole "nothing is open on Sundays" is for the birds. Not even grocery stores are open past 4 or so? Something like that. We could have starved to death!

Hazzi, I agree, I love the underground too! It's so easy to figure out and takes you almost everywhere. London has to be one of my favorite cities.

It was a strange weekend. We had gorgeous weather on Saturday. I went to Santa Barbara for the day so I could spend a Nordstrom's gift certificate. It was almost the perfect California day, just a little cool. Yesterday I woke up to rain and clouds. To match that mood, I went to Wamart to get a B-day gift for my 3 year old neice. I ended up with a baby doll and a little high chair to put her in.
