Just checking I got it right before we leave next week. I got mde and iv got my husband on my friend/family list he doesn't have mde I bought memory maker and linked card to mde when we get to disney we buying magic bands stay off site once both bands are linked to mde will husbands band get the ride photos as I won't be riding them or is there something iv got do for his to work with memory maker.

My understanding is that providing the Magic Band is linked to your account it should recognise both bands and add the photo's to your account.

But the first time my partner went on his own on one of the rides, his picture was missing. The next time we went to the photo desk to get the photo scanned. After that they all appeared on the account. We didn't have to do this for any of the other bands though.

The ride pictures are very good, and we really liked the Tower of Terror video.

Thanks :) it's our first time and now we so close am having a panic if am understanding and doing everything right lol.

Hello!

We're here now... Just going into the start of week 3 and we've got just under 300 photos on Memory Maker - it's amazing!

As the planner for our group - I bought Memory Maker on My Disney Experience, and it linked automatically. On My Disney Experience, I had the other members of the party listed (my OH and my nieces) - but none of them had My Disney Experience accounts. I spoke to Disney a couple of days before we went, as I was worried that the rest of my parties photos wouldn't show - and they said that if they don't have a My Disney Experience account, but their tickets/magic bands are listed as a part of your party within your My Disney Experience, you will be able to view their photos as default.

We've had absolutely no problems - everyones photos have appeared just fine!

In theory, in your Friends and family list, if you send each person an invite and they accept, then the accounts should be linked. However, for the sake a a few minutes, if you pop into a photo centre ( we used the one in Magic Kingdom - Next to Tony's Restaurant) they will scan the Magic Bands and link them there.
