We ahve 2 rooms booked for RPR- one of them has me, DH and 3 of my boys, the other has my friend, her DH, her 2 kids and 1 of my boys. I paid for both rooms with my credit card but their names are on the second room. We want to check in and get our FOTL passes early ( 7:30 am or so), but our friends wont get there until 9:30 am or 10:00am. Will I be able to check into their room for them and get their FOTL passes. Then they can just meet us at US and we can give them their passes. Actually, what I am really concerned about is getting the FOTL pass for my one son that is staying with them. Any chance they'll let us get the passes? I realize it will be early and hopefully not too crowded in the morning- but it will be mid July and I would hate to be short 1 FOTL pass for a while if it gets busy.

Both rooms are on your CC, you can check in for both rooms and get the room keys for everyone. They will require you to name everyone and state the ages. They will not issue you 6 room keys on one room.

Discuss it with check-in and they will work it out for you. You could call and have your name added to the reservation to make the process smoother.

i don't know if you can swing this.

you can register at the front desk for your room and get the keys.
even though you paid for both rooms, the other room is in another person's name.
your other son could not check in as the person has to be 21 and over for that other room.

call the hotel and do as fan suggested. have the other family call and add your name on to their ressie. if your husband is on one ressie, he can check you all in.
if your name is listed on the other ressie, you can check that room in.
but you need to call to explain the situation as if there are more than 2 adults listed in the room, a $25 charge will be added per night for the third adult.

Thank you for the advice. I called and they switched the names on the room reservation. Now I am in one room and DH is in the other so we can check into both. The lady was very nice and helpful. She joked, " Now you know you can sleep wherever you want. But who knows, it might be more fun to have your friend in the room instead of your husband!"

okmom, that is great news !!
glad you called and the rooms are in your and dh name.

it's smooth sailing from here on end now.
