Checking Interest-- DIsney Altered Paint Can Swap--Go to Sign-up THread

Hi everybody,
I got the CUTEST item back in a swap: an altered quart-size paint can with a little photo book inside which had both been done in a Disney theme. I thought these might make great holiday presents for our Disney-loving friends and can be used to hold an ornament, cookies, fudge, or a special little treat.

Would anybody be interested? I thought we coud make about three of them and because they are quart-size mailing would be more manageable.

And.....an Ocotober deadline would give us time to make them and allow them to get swapped out and added to our holiday gift stash.

Do you have photos? I am not sure I understand how the photo book fits in with the paint can.

I also would love to see a photo to get a better idea on how things work. Would we be making just the paint cans or also the scrapbook and what kind, paperbag?

Paint cans?! You know I'm in!! You can see examples on www.twopeasinabucket.com do a search for paint can. I usually just stuff them with scrap supplies.

You can buy empty cans at Home Depot or Lowes. The gallons are under $4.00 not sure about the quarts. The keys to open them were about $1.00.
These are some I did, they are gallon.

The paint cans are sold at Lowe's or Home Depot for about $1.50 each. Thanks to the posting folks who posted the pictures above. The TwoPeas website has lots of great sample ideas.
As for the "inside" suprise, a small treat such as an altered post-it holder, a mini 3x3 scrapbook found at Walmart for 97 cents, or anything else that you could alter and put inside the can would work.
