Checking in to RPR tomorrow.. What do I do first?

Good Morning all,

I will be leaving for the airport at 530am tomorrow we will check in at RPR. I just want to double check the order of check in. We have AP's which I selected as kiosk option. I believe we print those in the hotel lobby.

1. Check in, get room key cards (probably not active yet bc room may not be ready at noon).

2. Take key cards to Express Pass machine for photo? I assume this is also in lobby somewhere.

3. Print AP's from kiosk. These are paper? Will I need to get them converted to another form at the parks? And where to I go to activate them?

I'm nervous and excited - and a million things to do. Thank you for your help. These boards are great!!!

I would print the APs first in case they ask for them. They are your real tickets and you don't need to do anything with them except go through the gates.

Then check in.

Then print your express passes.

Relax, it's very easy process. Just checkin, they will point you to the express kiosk, 20-30 feet away. Then right beside the express kiosk is the ticket desk with kiosks and employees. They will help you. You will be all set in minutes from checkin. Oh, did I tell you relax. You will see once you get there. After this stay you will see how easy and relaxing it is. One more thing, relax. Lol

Thank you to all of you! I will admit, I am not too good with the relax part. I am afraid I will forget something. I know there are plenty of stores nearby, but I am such a worrier.

Relax, have fun. Relax, have fun. Breathe and repeat. I will try. I am packing my iPad (assuming I don't forget the cord to charge it), so I would be happy to try to answer any questions that come up. We will be there Sunday - Sunday.

I do not think we will see soft openings of Diagon Alley/Gringotts - just a few weeks too soon. All the more reason to plan another trip.

Sunday to Sunday?

We are coming up Saturday morning for the weekend. Want to see Huey Lewis and the news. Maybe we might bump into you. We are staying at RPR this trip.

I saw Huey Lewis and the News in HS. Probably will skip it this time. Keeping disboards open AND trying to do a million things. . Well, maybe only 100. Decided not to take camera and will use iPhone I guess. My photos are always crummy, so might as well not haul a camera there and back.

My first time on site too! Visited the CA Universal in 1988. We used Dis extensively to plan several WDW trips, but this is a first for Uni. We have to leave for airport at 530am!

We've visited many times but always stayed off site. After staying at WDW for 8 days/nights last year I knew we had to give it a try at US/IoA for the express pass and just being so close to it all for a week. Hope you have a safe flight! Look forward to hearing impressions and see pictures to make my last work week fly by!

So true. you don't know until you're there how EASY it is. So take our word for it and relax a little bit.

There are stores, there are towncars and taxis you can take if you forget something. It'll beOK.

We brought our camera last time but honestly only took it into the parks once. Phone cameras are so great now that you really don't need to lug around a camera
