Checking in online with Southwest

We will be staying at Pop and want to use the luggage service on our departure. This is our first time using Southwest. In the past they would check us in and give us our boarding passes. Can we check in at the 24 hour mark ourself and still use the service for our luggage? We know about the 12.50 extra we can pay to get the earlier boarding but we are not going to get it since we are flying home on a Wednesday and our plane isn't full.

Yes you can use the resort check in for your bags and the 24hr for your airline check in. We did this back in september.

Yes, they will even print your boarding pass and slip it under your door the morning of checkout. They did for me this morning!

Yes. I checked in at 24 hr and the next morning the boarding passes were on my door

You WANT to do your own check in when flying Southwest. DO NOT wait and let Disney do it. They will do it but they don't do it at 24 hours exactly. There is no telling what boarding position you'd get if you left it up to Disney.

I let Disney do mine yesterday and got B-19-not great but good enough.
