What are the chances of getting to check into our hotel around 12 or so upon arrival at All-Star Music...?? Has anyone been down there recently where you were able to do this....

It all depends on room availability. I have gotten into my room at noon before, but not always.

You can check in as early as you like but your room may not be ready.

We have checked in before 10:00 am the last four years. Our room has been ready half the time. We just leave out bags with the bellman and go to the parks. I am not sure what luggage service they have at your resort but you won't be the first person to do this. Hopefully, someone who has stayed at All Star Music can tell you what they did.

It will either be ready or not, so your odds are 50/50. :) I have found that when I get there around noon or 12:30 that it tends to be about 50/50, too! But I don't usually have to wait until 3:00 for the room to be done.

One time I checked in at the Poly, took the monorail over to the MK and called (just to check) while I was standing in line for ice cream and it was ready. The whole thing took maybe 20 minutes. I think I've only had to wait all the way until 3:00 once, at the WL.

I hope you get one when you check in. Good luck!

you can check in early. i think as early as 6-7 am. your room may not be ready but your key to the world card will be working (if you have tickets on it and meal plan) so you can get to a park that early. (we did just that in 2004) just keep the information with you about your room when you go play at the parks. you can leave your luggage with the porters (tip about $1 a bag)

We Check in to All Star sports couple weeks ago around 2pm. We were handed a card with phone number and asked to call back later for room assignment. If you want a room at check in be sure to ask for first available room then. We waited after check in to ask for this and we waited till almost 5pm for a room. Had I know to ask at check in for first available we would have been in a room a lot quicker.

How is the weather back home in KY ?

If you're using ME, your bags will be delivered to your room when it's ready whether you are there or not. You can leave any carryons with bell services and they will deliver them to your room. That's what we did when we stayed at POFQ.

HOTand dry. would love to see a good rain storm like we got here last year. humidity here is less then 30%. should call it the yellowgrass state now :rotfl:

We always arrive early in the morning, and 3 our of 4 times we have gotten in our room. We also go during low crowd season. On another trip we got two rooms, and one was ready and the other room was not. I think it depends on what time of year you go, and what you are requesting. The more specific your requests (i.e., 1st floor, corner room, king bed, etc., ), the more likely you will have to wait for a room to open up.

You can check in as early as 6am, but getting into the room will depend on vacant rooms, whether from checking out or not booked at all. I always check in as soon as I get there and if the room isn't ready, leave the bags with bell services or in the car and go do other things until it is ready. I have been able to get into my room as early as 6am or as late as 4pm, luckily the 4pm was only once. All other times are between 8am and noon.

Ensure that on your reservation "Early Arrival" is notated - it won't guarantee you're room will be ready, but it will ensure the resort knows. We've been pretty lucky - over all of our visits since 2001 our room has been ready before 3 pm with one exception at the AKL.
